Sean always goes above and beyond. I always look forward to going in and being sat in his section. Great conversationalist, prompt service and sells without pressure. 10/10
This was our first time at the Americano and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is beautiful , the service impeccable, delicious food -with a visit to our table by the incredible Chef Beau McMillan! We had the homemade pastas, Atlantic swordfish, and crispy ranch chicken with sage polenta. Kudos to Chefs Beau & head sous Peter McQuaid & all. Our wine went so well with our meals to make it an awesome experience. Highly recommend!
Sat at the bar, great bar staff. Very friendly and engaging. Great looking restaurant. Food was only ok. For pork chop and came by itself with no real flavor. Ahi tuna poke was good. Burrata and bologna was good. House made chips and dip really good bar snack. Menu isn't very interesting...same as from when Scott was there. Better to go for the bar and bar snacks.
I had dinner at The Americano last night with friends, and it was truly outstanding. They recently redesigned the interior, and the atmosphere felt fresh and really well done. I also want to acknowledge Chef Peter McQuaid, because every dish we tried was pure excellence!! We ordered several of the new menu items, and the bluefin tuna was honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten. The swordfish was another highlight, it was perfectly cooked. We also had the beef cheek tortellini, and the sauce was unbelievable. Everything we had was phenomenal, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Highly highly highly recommend. Great place to come after work for happy hour or to enjoy a night out with friends!
Monday night business dinner. Place was fairly full, but tables are spaced out well. Not too noisy. Menu has a good assortment of options - apps, salad, seafood, lamb, beef, pasta. I opted for the Lamb Shank. it was excellent. Came with a nice side of lentils as well. Service was top notch and the ambiance was very good. N*joy!
My $74 steak was very disappointing. It was dry. It had no flavor. I did order medium rare plus and when I cut into it, it had a lot of pink, which I like however, the steak was flat on flavor. I could get a better steak elsewhere for half that cost. They sat us near the bar and after a while it got really loud. Plus the mood lighting is too dark to even read the menu. I had to pull out my cell phone to get some added light. We've been to the Americano multiple times so I was very disappointed Overall with this experience.
Exceptional dining experience from start to finish! I ordered the Lamb Shank (which was amazing) and my husband had the New York strip. My husbands steak was overcooked but our waiter noticed right away and quickly took the steak back and had it redone without us even saying anything! Sides were flavorful, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates quality and care in every detail! Oh and the red velvet cake was on point!
Food and drinks are outstanding!!! The ambience is gorgeous. I always enjoy going to The Americano. I do find it to be a little pricey. I understand paying top dollar for a nice meal and experience but the prices are higher than other similar restaurants
We had a bad experience, full stop. Party of 6, had a reservation, but no hostess to be found upon arrival. Restaurant is half full. We put in an order for 2 drinks and half dozen of their small sharing plates (believing it was just to get started) Waited 30 min for drinks Waited 60 min for food Asked for some bread while we were waiting. Waited 45 min for four pieces of sliced sourdough. In all fairness the manager took off a good chunk of the bill and was apologetic, but that only happened at the end of the meal. A place like this should have been all over any delays, making sure we had fresh drinks, or at a minimum communicating about it. Letting us sit for an hour with no server attention is just bad. I know bad nights happen and the food was delicious, but I'll never go back and can't recommend it to anyone. Spend your money somewhere that knows how to take care of you.
The service always excellent. The food is wonderful. The pastas are great. My favorite is the bone in Veal and large enough to split for normal eaters. Drinks great. It is expensive but worth it.

James once again gave us the best service!! The pasta Pomodoro is amazing and my husband raved about the pork shank. The wedge and Caesar salads are also delicious. I highly recommend the Americano to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The remodel is gorgeous too!!
The Salad and Cocktails were yummie - However, both of the mains were over cooked; keep that in mind, when ordering.
My wife and I were in Scottsdale to attend a concert at the Musical Instrumeny Museum. Americano was right across the street from our hotel, and less than a 10 minute drive to the MIM, so we thought we would give it a try. So glad we did. The restaurant is quite lovely and the food was just fabulous. Service was top notch - friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We will definitely look forward to the next opportunity to return!
Always amazing 🤍 Thank you Grant for always making sure our experience is nothing short of spectacular!
We had a terrific dining experience last night with family. Food & service were excellent and the new dining room decor is beautifully done.
