The Grapevine Restaurant & Karaoke Bar

In the past few times we've been here we had a nice time however tonight's service was horrible. I had ordered a drink, grated it wasn't a usual one, but the waiter said they thought the bartender would be able to make it--all good. Then he comes back with a drink completely different than the one I ordered, with whipped cream blended which is not at all what the drink I ordered is made or like I've ever had. He said the bartender added a few different things to make it similar to what I wanted. But it's not at all what I wanted. I asked the waiter for a different drink and sent the other one back-- also fine whatever. But then he comes back with that same drink and says the he can make a new one for me but the manager said I would still have to pay for it and leaves me with the drink, that I never even agreed to or ordered! If they would have came to me and let me know hey we can't make it exactly like it's supposed to be made but we can make an alteration like so. Then I would have said no thanks I'll go ahead and order a different one. But instead they bring out a drink I never ordered or agreed to and didn't want but then still had to pay for? Doesn't seem to make much sense. Won't be returning.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. I have always loved it but am sad to say i will not be back. Every single time I have come over the last couple of years, the red headed manager thinks she is above all and is extremely rude. We constantly receive attitude and rudeness for no reason. You can be polite, kind and a respectable customer but if she doesn’t like the look of you, you will not be treated kindly. The servers and bartenders are amazing and it’s such a good time but she can easily ruin it. I am not one to leave bad reviews or slander others but i have officially had it with the way i have been treated by this person. Kindness is free and simple and she needs to learn that.

Went for lunch and the patio was beautiful overlooking scottsdale. Had the Mahi Mahi entree and it was delicious and very filling,
served with house made jalapeno hummus. My wife had the salmon which she loved. Great non-pretentious vibes and super friendly staff. Will come back for karaoke!

Vegetarian options: Veggie sandwhich is amazing, delicious lentil soup, crispy lavosh with cheese and veggies

Great atmosphere but the food was not good. The lavash wasn’t very crispy after the first slice and the wings weren’t very flavorful. I suggest that they cut the wings to make it a smaller size and to use a batter such as rice flour to make the wings more crispy.

A fun place to hang out for a birthday but it was crowded with lots of regular singers it seemed since it takes over an hour to get your song called for karaoke.

Very un-accommodating of large group reservations on weekends. They would rather turn the business away apparently.

I wanted to share my recent experience at your establishment. My party and I spent over $200, and while we were waiting for our drinks to mellow, Frances the hostess approached us in a rude manner. She insisted that we order more drinks, and even threatened to ask us to leave if we didn’t comply. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable, and we couldn’t help but feel that her behavior may have been influenced by our ethnicity, as we are Asian.

We chose your venue expecting a welcoming and respectful environment, but this experience was disheartening. I hope you will take this feedback seriously to ensure better treatment of all customers in the future.

The DJ operates with cash tips before you get a chance to sing No tip no Karaoke for you

In my day karaoke singers are the performers the dj simply doesn’t deserve anything Very Unprofessional

The karaoke sound and the crowd are excellent! Everyone is friendly and out to have a good time. The people that go there make it 5 star, the establishment could use some information regarding the American Disability laws

Wheelchair accessibility: They do not have room for a wheelchair in the crowded bar area used for karaoke. The "bouncer" refused to accommodate for disabled individuals.

Mahi mahi was perfect. We enjoyed seats on the upstairs patio. Only slightly awkward moment was overly friendly waiter joking that my daughter and I 'looked like sisters'. Please, leave age out of conversations (he did a great job with actual service so still got his generous tip)

Enjoyed an outdoor table on the second floor. Cozy heat lamp. Jake, our server, took great care of us. Cocktails were good along with street tacos and Reuben sandwich. Will definitely return.

They gave me the worst old fashioned I've ever had. Water was $7, and the waiter was extremely rude to my friends telling them they needed to buy something or leave, even though we were in a large group and everyone else was buying drinks. The designated drivers were treated terribly, and had to buy a $6 fountain drink "or leave" as the manager and server had said. I am disgusted with the service they provided on my friends birthday with family members there. They did not have Linkin Park for karaoke. Regardless to say, I will not be going back!!

Even if you don't sing, the people watching and crowd participation in top notch. The upstairs patio deck is really nice. The bartenders are friendly, and the karaoke DJ is high energy. Grapevine is a fun option for a night out in Old Town.
