In a time when so many restaurants have settled for ordinary, lifeless food and mundane service, The Mick stands out as a refreshing and heartfelt experience. You can truly taste the love in their dishes, and the service is exceptional, it feels like you're dining in someone's home. Jay is the best! I couldn't recommend this place more highly, and I sincerely hope it never changes.

For the price we expected top notch service; although it was very friendly the service was not stellar. Things weren't too busy, but our food came out at different times, we had to flag down the waiter for a second bottle of wine and the busboys kept reaching across us to retrieve or set down plates etc. A nice evening could have been exceptional with a little more attention to detail.

Pork was very tender just felt the portion was small didn't know if that was because of restaurant week but there were no accompanying sides with it and I was still hungry. My husband's fish was a better portion and very good. Lights are very bright. I think they should have more downlighting for a better ambiance.

I can’t say enough about The Mick. The perfect date night restaurant. My wife and I had an unbelievable meal, with the topper being the pate melt. So rich and delicious.
But even better was the service. We had a short wait when we arrived (didn’t make reservations). The owner greeted us, then came back with glasses of wine for us while we wait! Unreasonable Hospitality at its finest. Our table servers and staff were great, too, and made it a special night.
Go visit, support this restaurant. Need more gems like this in Scottsdale.
