We really enjoyed our midweek Happy Hour visit to The Montauk. Our drinks were creative and well-balanced. The Mac & Cheese had a yummy smoky flavor, and the Rock Shrimp’s batter had a perfect crunch and just the right amount of sauce. The space has an easy nautical vibe with lots of parking nearby. We’ll be back.
Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian dishes.
Parking: Spot is in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, while there’s plenty of parking, plan ahead if you’ll visit Thu-Sat evenings.

We love Montauk, we've been a couple times now and each visit has been fantastic. The vibe, food, drinks, and service are all truly amazing. We recently stopped by for happy hour and tried the deviled eggs and mini chicken sliders, both of which were absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back again soon! 5 stars all the way.

The food and service were good, but the DJ on a Saturday morning/afternoon was playing music outrageously loud to the point where I could hardly hear my partner who was sitting next to me. If you plan on coming for brunch be mindful that it may be very loud. Otherwise it was a good experience.

We came for happy hour 3-6. On Monday’s happy hour is all day. The bartenders are so attentive and great! Live DJ = great vibes.

A RAT ran across the bar, I couldn’t believe my eyes, no one even tried to find it. They just tried to cover it up and pretend it didn’t happen. This is a regular spot for me but not anymore. Ick 🤢

I was there last night 11/13, sat at the outdoor bar. I was completely ignored for almost 10 mins until a couple of men sat next to me and they were promptly given menus as soon as they sat down. It wasnt until then that I was finally given a menu. However, my actual order was never taken. I realized that the two men had not only gotten their drinks but also their food! Still no one came to take my food order until I flagged someone down. My friend came shortly after. And no one came back to take her order or mine for drinks. Once again we had to flag someone down. Yet the couple next to me were getting served from TWO different servers. The guy who originally gave me the menu and another woman. And I was sitting in front of the cash register, so they clearly saw me and my guest. I would never go here again. Horrible service.

Had a very tasty brown sugar latte here, and tried the Mediterranean platter. Was delicious, but felt kind of silly chewing on olives and spitting out pits at a nice place you know? Also I don't know if it's related, but I had the runs shortly after eating here. Everything seemed fresh so I don't know, I don't want to wrongly blame the restaurant.

Had a wonderful brunch at The Montauk. I had a reservation and was seated promptly in the dining room. The charming Hamptons-style decor, guitar-playing singer, and charming open-door patio surrounding the restaurant created a relaxing and memorable atmosphere.
The food was outstanding, and I felt the price was reasonable for the taste and the amount that we received. I loved the clam chowder! The chowder was hearty and full of flavor. I especially enjoyed the thyme in Bayleaf that came through. The chicken Caesar salad was delicious. The chicken skewers were marinated and grilled to perfection, while still allowing the meat to be moist and tender. It was a great addition to the salad. My sister had the huevos rancheros that she felt was the best that she had had in a long time. She loves spice, but did not need to add any hot sauce to the dish because of the rich, smoky flavor that gave the perfect amount of heat.
The brunch menu, which is offered daily until 3 PM, is diverse and has something for everyone. This is definitely a new favorite spot and I’m looking forward to coming back soon.

Came here Thursday December 5 for a highly anticipated happy hour only to find out that the place had a private event. There was no mention of this online and I drove an hour in traffic to get here. My friends and I were very disappointed to not see anything mentioned online. There were also many open tables away from the private event.
Disappointed is an understatement.
