Boo ya! Delicious Italian comfort food healed us when we were weak. The tomato bisque and pasta Alfredo hit the spot we didn’t even know was hurting. We came in weak. We left strong.

No good at all The music was good The wine selection was good for a small place but the antipasto we ordered so much garlic and the chicken parmigiana no good at all neither ! Even the dessert with chocolate was good.

Had lunch & a drink the bar. Beer wasn’t as cold as I’d like, but it was good. Food was pretty good. I’d try it again if I was back in town.

Went for new years dinner and was underwhelmed. Service was slow and the good read just ok. They did offer gluten friendly options but weren't careful with the food. For example, they put bread on top of the mozzarella appetizer when we asked for gluten free.

We had the best carpaccio with lemon oil and rocket. Followed by very good pasta dishes?? We had the best service also. We would love to come back?

We stopped in for lunch, and enjoyed our food. My spouse had the ravioli and I had a meatball sandwich. We had a side of garlic bread. The pasta and sandwich were both really good and filling. The sauces were mild but still flavorful. The bread for the sandwich and garlic bread was soft and not too heavy. Service was good. The fries with the sandwich were not very good however. It tasted like the oil was old or something was cooked in it that gave a strange flavor to the fries. The restaurant was very clean, and you can tell the staff take pride in it. We would try for dinner if in the area.

Excellent food and top notch service makes this a win if you are looking for Italian in Old Scottsdale! unusual takes on traditional foods.

We ate at La Locanda, but the one that is located on N. Scottsdale Rd. This restaurant serves lunch and dinner, not just dinner like the other one. The food and wine was delicious and the price was right. Service was excellent, too. It was my husband's birthday, and they actually brought him a dessert with a candle in it and sang to him. Will definitely return when we are in Scottsdale!

We visited La Locanda last week. Amazing food! The beet salad was really good and so was the black linguini with sea food. Everyone in our group of 5 enjoyed their food.

Had a wonderful baby arugula salad with grilled chicken. Good sized salad and was more than enough! Very good service but a little slow on food delivery. It wasn't much of an issue as it was a nice evening and our server was very attentive and kept us updated.

We have seen this restaurant every time we go to Old Town but had never eaten there. So last week we decided we would give it a chance and are glad we did. It was a beautiful day and they have a nice outside patio but we got there just before noon and decided to eat inside as the patio was very sunny when we arrived. We were seated immediately and asked if we wanted wine or a cocktail. Initially, I asked for a coke but then I saw they had a wine that I really like and at $8 a glass was a nice deal so I had that. Hubby had a coke. For our entrees I had the cobb salad and hubby the caprese sandwich. I LOVED the cobb salad. They had all the ingredients chopped up very small and missed all in together. It was wonderful and one of the best I have ever had. Hubby had the Caprese Sandwich and he said it was very tasty. He really like the roll it was served on. We were very pleased with our lunch and will definitely go there again.

My husband and I had dinner here last week while visiting Scottsdale. The restaurant is in the heart of downtown Scottsdale and was walkable from our hotel. The waiter provided excellent service and helped us choose our dishes. The beet salad was excellent; the goat cheese was very fresh and creamy. The Caesar salad was also excellent; presentation was really nice and the dressing was delicious (especially if you like anchovies). For dinner, I had the Fruit de Mer on black pasta, which was delicious. It had lots of seafood and the tomato sauce was well seasoned and not spicy. My husband had the Pasta Carbonara which was fantastic. The dish had plenty of bacon and instead of peas, it came with Brussels sprout shavings which gave it a nice unexpected flavor and texture. We wished we had room for dessert but we did not. One of the owners came by twice to check on our dinner and he was very gracious. It was really a lovely dinner. The only drawback is that with the front doors open, it was at times a little noisy due to downtown traffic. We highly recommend La Locanda.

We were looking for an outdoor place to eat, as the weather was so nice. Found this restaurant by walking around and decided to give it a try. Good service —and a nice comfortable outdoor patio. Chicken Parm and a salad, grilled onions and sausage (I thought it was a plate but it was a sandwich.) Nice wine.

Seafood risotto and Alfredo with shrimp which were just outstanding. Our waitress was new to the place and just beaming with happiness. When I complimented the food she grinned ear to ear and said, "I used to work somewhere that people complained. Everyone loves the food here which is just so much better". I'll be back with friends. Lots of them. :-)

Their new location at the corner of Scottsdale Rd and Main St makes this an easier decision for dinner as everyone is just driving right by. Will be great for the Thursday night art walks. Lovely new interior and same delicious food. We shared a chopped salad and I had the 4 cheese ravioli. Veal piccata was not on the menu but they had no problem making it for my husband as they did have other veal dishes. Good Italian sangria and good wine. Very good service . We will be back! Everything was delicious.
