So my husband and I ordered the fajitas and apparently it doesn't even come with rice. We were charged extra for the cut cucumbers with guacamole which OK that's fine. Then instead of getting tortillas with the fajita, they suggested a lettuce wrap because I didn't want the extra carbs and of course they charge extra for that too even though they didn't bring the flower or corn tortillas. We will not be back.
Spotted Donkey Cantina serves up bold Mexican flavors with a fun, vibrant atmosphere. Great drinks, tasty tacos, and a perfect spot to hang out with friends!
From the outside looking in........the place looks sub-par. However, the food awesome super authentic and fresh! Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had - wish they had one of these in Wisconsin!
Spotted Donkey is a local favorite of ours. The food and service are always good. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem.
We had a very god experience on 6/20 . Food was good, server John was good and the elevator was working which has been a recent problem . But today everything was very good
Great food, nice atmosphere! Hidden away little gem
We traveled from out of town and chose this place because they had gluten free options. The staff were attentive and the food and margaritas were delicious. During our visit, we also had an unexpected medical issue with my daughter and all of the staff that was able to help were ready to assist. Their actions show that they truly care about the well-being of their customers and the experience you have while dining there.
Food and service were excellent. Delicious margaritas! I had the special margarita and the chicken taquitos. My husband had the frozen margarita and tacos. We both enjoyed our drinks and meal.
Omg where to start the worst food ever greasy sloppy messes came here because it was on the property of boulders
The entire place feels like a ghost town when you're inside the music sounds like something from a serial killer movie. It's very odd. Our waiter Kris was super fun and understanding My chicken fajitas look like they were swimming in an oil pool and there was only soggy red peppers and onions like everything was super soggy. The drinks were really well done. The queso was absolutely disgusting

Great spot for Mexican food. Our server Chris was fantastic. Margarita's go down easy. Get the chips and guacamole, it's really good.
Have been dining at Spotted Donkey for over 20 years. Always good and is one of our go to spots.
Bartenders are always friendly, get the tacos combo it’s delicious!
Great service, amazing food, highly recommended!
This restaurant has had it's ups and downs over the years. We have avoided dining there during the winter tourist season. It is clearly on the upside again. The Dinner selections were tasty and quite ample to satisfy anyone's desire for quality Mexican cuisine. The Service was also very good and the wait staff was very attentive. Well worth a dining experience.
