Braedan the bartender is incredible. Knowledge, recommendations and humor go a long way with this gentleman.Brady of the manager, was also accommodating with good recommendations! He actually is the one that got me to go for the prime rib on Sundays.The food here is outstanding especially the prime rib on Sundays after 5:00 p.m.If you're worried about how the food tastes, come into their happy hour and get the slider burgers for 6 bucks. This was our first time at The Big, but it won't be our last. The service was fast and friendly, and handled the diet needs of our group effectively. Everything was excellent, but the buffalo wings were probably the best we've ever had - highly recommended!

The two of us showed up tonight, Wednesday at 7:40 and we’re told we couldn’t be seated because they are “too busy” and can’t take anymore tables for the rest of the night. There were open seats in the restaurant, patio, and bar. Just bizarre to us, and unfortunate as we drove here for dinner.

Stopped in for lunch 2pm two of us ! Couldn't get service manager talked downed to us we left without service! I have been in the business most of my adult life! Never again!

Atmosphere and decor? 10! Food + Service? 6, maybe.We came here for a team lunch-12 people total with a reservation about 2-3 weeks ago. Our server, while nice, was ill-attentive and for over half the lunch we had all 4 carafes of water empty and had to request another server to please give us more water. We got checked in from the waiter only once after ordering + receiving the food— and had to request the nice server who got us waters to also get the bill for our table because the guy was MIA. This was at about 2:30pm on a Friday, so possibly in between shifts?Food pacing was great, all of our food came at the table at the same time, but we all had mixed reactions. Tacos came with no joke, 4! Tortilla chips on the side lol. I got the fish and chips and while the fish was cooked beautifully, it lacked flavor—and any trace of salt. Boss man got the French dip style sandwich and was still hungry because of the size. Overall, is it a cute spot? Yes! Would I come back if we were trying to impress someone else make a good impression? No.

After a not so stellar experience a little while ago we came back to give The Vig another try and a chance to redeem themselves. Jordan was an excellent server. Our food and drinks were very tasty and our experience overall was very good. We are glad we gave them another try!
Food was pretty bland and the menu was very random and like a hodge podge of items. Found it hard to find apps and meals that went together, especially for a brunch. There was a DJ but the music was low, which we appreciated. Server was ok but not super friendly.

This isn't the first visit to the Vig but the first time the service was very lacking. They completely missed one of the orders of our group and then quickly prepared something that was cold and jot prepared correctly. No one checked on our table, dishes weren't cleared unless you asked them to take the empty dishes and our server did not seem like she knew the menu at all. It was very disappointing.
It was a lovely day on the patio with Jordan as our server; she was engaging and accommodating. My food was better than last time... no gristle on the steak of the steak salad. The French fries were hot and crisp. For 16$ the wings ought to be plumper... again, they have been , but this time much skinnier. The accompanying side on the wing plate was sad...veggies with brown spots on them; not to worry, Jordan to the rescue who replaced those compostables with a delightful array of multi colored carrots which were crunchy and fresh.

Very disappointed this times we used to come here lots the service was very slow we waited 45 min for the food and no one came to ask us about how the food is . We came for brunch . The steak and egg was ok but was over cooked and not done as perfectly and very chewy . And my wife got the egg Benedict which was very salty and not as usual . The coffee was ok as usual and I do believe that the juice is not freshly squeezed from the taste of it which I will think that it will be especially in a place like that . Very disappointing this time .

We stopped by The Vig before a movie at RoadHouse Cinemas and were very impressed with the food and service. The bartender (we sat at the bar) went out of her way to make sure we got out in time for our movie and even comped our drinks after the entrees took longer than expected. Although we don't live near that part of town, we've gone out of way (pass other Vigs-- looking at you Fillmore) to go back due to that location.
