The Well Bar in Scottsdale is our go-to spot, but let’s be real—it’s all because of Wendie. She’s not just a bartender; she’s the lifeblood of this place. Wendie keeps the bar running like a well-oiled machine: clean, efficient, and buzzing with just the right energy.
She’s fierce in the best way—always in control, making sure the atmosphere is fun but never chaotic. No one’s passing out or blacking out on her watch. Wendie’s sharp, thorough, and knows exactly what’s going on at all times. Her no-nonsense approach ensures the bar stays safe, lively, and respectful for everyone.
We don’t just visit The Well Bar; we visit Wendie. If she’s not there, we go elsewhere. That’s how much of a difference she makes. She’s loud, in charge, and unapologetically awesome—exactly what you want in a bartender.
If you’re looking for a fun atmosphere where you’ll feel taken care of and part of a good vibe, I highly recommend visiting Wendie at The Well. She’s a Scottsdale gem, and we adore her! She ls there Monday-Friday 12-7pm. No Wednesdays. Xo

I didn't have any food but the bar was chill and friendly workers and patrons with decent price. Didn't drink any good IPAs tonight but the Miller high life was steady and quick. All in all I enjoy, would recommend.

Been a regular for 2 years now and have nothing but great vibes from all the bartenders but this Tuesday i noticed a new face a girl by the name of hsley i believe and got nothing but hostility i waited for my drink for over 20 min she grabbed the 5 empty glasses then told me to hold on while she proceeded to go to the front of the bar and dance to a song with a customer then poured my shot. I’ve never experienced somebody so unprofessional at well bar the n she told me she had a problem with my friends and there “vibe” and kicked us out with i talked to the bar back who is also security Troy he told us that we were welcomed back and apologized for her action but had no control because she was the bartender on staff. I’ve never felt so unwelcome as a regular and he told us to come back on a day she wasn’t working and that he would comp our drinks. She was noticeably drunk on clock and made me second guess if i would would ever be back. If she is on the new full time staff i will take my buisness and by friends to on the rocks down the street.

I love this bar. I’ll go out of my way to Uber here. I’ve only had some encounters with some less than pleasant people a few times. Usually super drunk individuals being rowdy. Otherwise the drinks are reasonably priced, tons of types of liquors, and great bartenders. They don’t provide much of a food menu but they do allow you to bring outside food in! Only had one encounter with a male bartender who was incredibly rude to me. Haven’t seen him in a long time so I figure he no longer works there. Overall I love this place.
Parking: You’ll find the parking lot by looking for the lights on the patio.

Usually i absolutely love well bar. Tim, Yancy & Celeste have always been such amazing people. However tonight I came in with a few friends and was greeted by a new face behind the bar. This lady had the WORST attitude I’ve ever come across. I felt like she wanted to jump over the bar and fight me. I ordered a few beers and she pulled them from the cooler and let them sit on the side of the bar while helping 3 other people and having long conversation, in the process of me. (There was maybe 10 people in the whole bar) I gave her my debit card to start a tab and she held it in her bra the entire time she was talking to other customers. After about 10 minutes she handed me the beers that had been sitting out and asked me for a card to start a tab. I love well bar but definitely won’t be back if this girl is around.

Great local spot! The staff are super friendly and the locals exude that same feeling. The food is bar food(good bar food) and the drink selection is great! Only 15 minutes from the airport as well so I great stop off in-between your

Visiting from out of state and even though it’s clearly a place where everybody knows your name I did not feel out of place. Great bartender (Wendy you rock!) and the prickly pear margarita was awesome! Highly recommend!!

It's been a long time coming... Amazing family owned business with employees that never leave and always take care of their guests. You can always tell a solid business when employees are there for 10+ years. Post covid, great to see this business and other businesses absolutely packed. I've never seen this country stronger economically; home equity, stock market and job employment at record highs. We are in the start of a new bull market. Again, great to see The Well Bar thriving.
