The bar changed since security and bartenders changed. The vibe is not the same. Double charge you. Service is slow. Aaron aggressive to females. There’s plenty of other places to go to with better vibe.

We had a great time at WellBar on October 4, 2025, but when we returned on October 7, Wendy who hadn’t served us loudly confronted us about a tab in front of everyone. We were the only African American customers both times and were clearly singled out. Another Black customer overheard and asked what was going on, while others, including bartender Kevin, said Wendy often behaves this way.
We were also overcharged. We only had four shots, one beer, and a pizza, yet the total was $84. One of my shots was barely poured, while the woman next to me received almost double. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. The confusion over the tab came from another guest who offered to pay since we’re new to Arizona, but once we learned it wasn’t covered, we paid immediately.
Being yelled at publicly and overcharged left us feeling humiliated, targeted, and unwelcome. I hope management addresses this behavior every customer deserves respect and fairness.

Wendy, a bartender who did not serve us originally, loudly confronted my husband and me about a tab in front of many other customers. Everyone in the bar stopped and stared, which made me so embarrassed I had to leave.
We were the only African American customers on both visits, and that is how we were identified and singled out. Another African American man came over to find out what was going on and even asked how much our tab was, but Wendy made such a scene that people around us began feeling sorry for us and wanted to help. Several customers mentioned that she acts this way often and questioned why she is still working there which is very bad for business.
To make matters worse, we were overcharged. We only had four shots total, one beer, and a pizza, yet the total came out to $84. The way Wendy treated us felt humiliating, disrespectful, and unprofessional. We were confused about the tab because another guest had said they would pay, and when we were informed, we paid immediately without any issues.
Being yelled at publicly over a misunderstanding and then overcharged was completely unnecessary and left us feeling targeted, unwelcome, and discriminated against. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to WellBar. I hope management addresses this behavior, as every customer deserves to be treated with respect, fairness, and dignity.

Took a family member there last time and covered the bill today he returned in the bartender, stated he did not pay for the drinks yelling in front of his wife discriminated against him and treated him with poor very poor. Poor customer service not a good place for African-Americans to go

Just a cool old dive bar. It's a locals favorite, and just has a cool vibe to it. We both had bottled beer, and they were cold as ice. The bartender was really friendly and the locals were cool

Nicer inside than I thought. Good dive bar with only microwave food options. One bartender/server so you have to be patient when multiple people are ordering drinks. I would give it a higher rating if I lived closer and it was a convenient dive bar but it's a drive for me. Nothing exciting either to make me want to go back yet nothing that would discourage me either if someone invited me again.

This place is racist and homophobic. The bartenders allow racial and anti gay slurs all day long. Go here if you want to be trashy and do coke on the bathroom floor.
