Only one person serving. I rated it a 3 as service and atmosphere and layout were poor. The beer we had was good. We didn't have food but not sure that they serve food. Never saw or was offered a menu.

If you want an upscale dive bar this is the place. A HUGE selection of beers and ciders along with a few options for wine. They have a small food menu and service is quick. They have games available for kiddos if you want to turn it into a family outing. Will be returning!

We visited for the first time on a Thursday evening. It is an interesting concept - wine, beer and only light snacks like a salumi platter and grilled cheese sandwiches. The service was very attentive and the selection of beer is incredible. The only negative is that if you sit on the west side you can't see the beer and wine selections very easily as it writeen on the chalk board less than two feet behind you. The ambiance is very calm and the Edison light bulbs make for a warm glow.The pricing is very good as well and makes sense since their is no real "table" service with every one at the bar (save one table on the way to the restrooms) and there is virtually no kitchen besides a counter and panini press.We had the $10 meat and cheese plate - with pre-sliced meats (salami and pepperoni), three cheeses (smoked houda and two others I could not exactly identify - there were mild), walnuts, dried apricots and pimento stuffed olives.The prosciutto, goat cheese and fig spread apanini was very tasty and nicely watrmed. No oil or buter onthe outrside which would make it really good if they started adding that.They have late night hours which is nice for the area where most things close early. Open until 1 am on Fri/Sat.Given the location, pricing and good vibes I am sure that we will return.

I am so thrilled the whining pig now has a location in McDowell Mountain Ranch. It makes it much easier to go to one of my favorite hangout places when I come to visit my parents. I love the selection of wine and beer as well as the atmosphere and all of the fun games they have for playing.
