Dinner was fabulous, and our server, Hunter, was amazing! This was our first visit and we had lots of questions. Hunter answered each one with ease and a smile, and even consulted with the head chef for us a couple of times. My husband and our friends had the evening's special, Grouper, and the fish and chips, and I had the Prawn Spaghetti. All of the food was superb! We topped it all off with the skillet brownie, key lime pie, and cheese cake. These desserts were awesome. In addition, it began to rain before we were finished eating. Hunter and the manager were very quick to re-seat us comfortably indoors even though the restaurant was full. We live in the East Valley, so the restaurant is a little out of our way, but despite this we will definitely return very soon.

The gnocchi was excellent. The prime rib was cooked perfectly with great flavor but was very, very fatty for prime rib... which is saying something. Sometimes, it's just the piece of meat, so I would definitely try it again. The hamburger was a thick patty, cooked perfectly, and was described as "meaty deliciousness." The chicken sandwich was kind of meh as the breaded coating fell off. Service was attentive and good, but they told us a gnocchi entree is big enough for two people, which made it seem fairly small even though it was a good portion for a single entree.

The awesome location makes this establishment the neighborhood gem of McDowell Mountain Ranch. The food is delicious, and the large indoor outdoor bar and patio space make this a great restaurant to have drinks or food. The locals love it here, as well as the tourist renters from the area. This restaurant has changed names over the last two decades. I hope the best for this restaurant and bar. I hope they make it. I haven't had a bad experience here, nor have I had a good one. For me, the food was done right. I wish I could say the smashed burger was awesome. I will say that the chicken sandwich is my favorite so far. I've been in many times and managed to stay under the radar for customer service from behind the bar. Everyone seems to be recognized and happy to come here. Again, I am rooting that this place makes it.

Group of six of us were somehow seated at”The King's Table”, up front and separate. Mario was our (excellent!) server and we all had a wonderful evening! The pasta dishes in particular were superb and fork-fuls were shared amongst the group. The restaurant is “lively” most evenings, especially during high season. The Kings Table (seats up to 10!) made conversation a bit easier and enjoyable. Thank you Thompson 105 for ANOTHER great night!

I sent back my salad. My friend ordered a small Cesar salad. I ordered a large. They came as the same size. Server said mine weighed more than the small one. It weighed more because I added chicken. So they gave me more lettuce. Rather stingy on large salad size

Stephanie our server was excellent! Food experience was outstanding as always! The two singers/players were amazing and personable. I had the opportunity to talk to Melanie and truly hope they become regulars at Thompson 105.

Go for the views. Great views, busy atmosphere, service was good despite a very busy night. Food was less than expected. Prime rib came out mildly warm, fried chicken portions were less than expected. Overall the food was good, not great. Service again was good. We will give it another try. *** Reply to owner. The chicken was the fried chicken meal with fries. My prime rib, as noted was mildly warm ( I didn't bring my meat thermometer with me) but it bothered me enough to write a review about it not being served warm or as one would expect.

Had a party of six for brunch on the patio. I ordered the Avocado toast which I would not order again. Presentation was beautiful but it is served on focaccia bread so it is very awkward to eat...knife doesn't cut well and picking it up with your hands is messy and not a good look. It comes with “lox” which were just a very overcooked salmon bites that were chewy and was a strange taste with the rest of the dish. Husband and son ordered the eggs Benedict which they enjoyed.

The food was good but overpriced. The environment was so loud (mostly the customers, not the band) we could hardly have a 4-way conversation. The service was excellent but even the waitress mentioned waiting for the noise to die down before telling us about the specials.

Ok you're in Northeast Scottsdale, but you need to go back to Paradise Valley or Arcadia for a 5 Star dining experience right? Wrong! This place was a Super Fantastic 5 STAR Find close to home. Everyone here seemed dedicated to making our dining experience a great one. We started with the Ahi Crespo, which was perfect to share and very well presented and delicious. Both of us had the Wood Grilled Hangar Steak, which was cooked to perfection and perhaps the best tasting protein in the entire 85260! The portions were lopsided by alot (we chalked it up to the place being Sunday evening packed and kitchen super busy), but since we both ordered the same, we evened the plates out at the table. Wine selection great, as were the mixed drink offerings (The Hully). Desert offering equally as good. The atmosphere was high quality and the fire wall took the chill out of the evening air. Our server was working super hard to please all of her tables and did so with a delightful friendly attitude. Cannot wait to return to Scottsdale and to Thompson 105. Kudos to your team!

This was our first time at Thompson 105. The booth was nice and roomy however, the walkway for the servers went right by the booth so it was continuously busy. French dip sandwich although on the pricey side was outstanding! My guest had ordered the prime rib sliders off the happy hour menu. Those too were enjoyable. I would've liked prime rib sliders however, they were not available rare. Although extremely busy, the server was fairly attentive. Would definitely return.

I had the most delicious halibut ever!!!! The food is fabulous. Love the menu. Great atmosphere and view of the mountains at sunset. Great live music was an added bonus. Fabulous neighborhood spot

Thompson 105 is one of our very favorite places to dine. The smell of the wood fired grill draws us in and anything that comes off that grill is delicious. Never had a meal here we didn't like.
