Stopped in for dinner with some girlfriends. We came on a Wednesday night and it wasn't too busy, but I made reservations just incase because they had just launched their spring menu. That being said you could probably do without reservations on a week night. This is a great spot in the Biltmore to walk around and shop if you do have to wait for a table. We opted to sit outside to take advantage of the patio weather because was beautiful out. I did love the vibey, open concept of the inside though! The group all ordered different entrees so we could try a little bit of everything. Overall the food was decent, but for the price point (avg $18/dish) there was not anything that really stood out to me. Highlights: The hummus and pita (not pictured because we devoured the hummus too quickly!) and the desserts. The colossal cookie and the flourless chocolate cake were to die for. You need to try both! The menu is rather large so I'd come again to try some other items. I do appreciate their mission to using whole, natural ingredients!

Food was great, will start off with that.Seated in an odd area of the restaurant between to large parties, whom had the space altered to accommodate their size. Fine, we’re not too picky about that kind of stuff. Was 20 minutes before a waiter came to our table, though. It wasn’t our waiter either, was one nearby that finally noticed.Drinks came, had something in it, so had to send it back.Dinner ended, they were apologetic and all, but then lost my credit card. Manager tried to hunt it down, to no avail.Give it a go by all means, but don’t expect top notch service.

Overrated. Our server was on some sort of pharmaceutical drugs. She was out of it. Swaying, eyes rolling around. Asked for a different waiter. It took over an hour to get our food. We left hungry and paid way over what it was worth. It’s definitely booze food…meaning you have to be drunk to like it and then overpay.

Came in here at 8:30 (they close at 10) after an extremely long day working and on an empty stomach excited to try this place out. The server immediately made it clear that he was trying to go home and wanted us in and out ASAP. The tuna starter was good. The turkey burger fair. The steak was so bad we didn't touch it and the waiter only came back to cash us out. We spoke with the manager who comped the meal. The other server who brought desert (Grant) was great. Atmosphere great. Fairly disappointed overall.

It took them a long time to serve the food and unfortunately when they brought the food, one of the dishes had hair in it. It was a disappointing experience .

Been to Scottsdale quarter a ton of times but never been to true food kitchen. Went there on my wife's birthday and was impressed by food, ambiance and service. Everything is top quality. Place is hygienic and has a pleasant atmosphere. Don't remember name of the person who took our order. But went by her recommendation to get the pizza and it didn't disappoint. Price is reasonable for its location and how well they maintain it.

The Tru Food in Biltmore Plaza in Arizona. The foos is good, ambiance is fine as well. The service is under par..that's why 3 stars. Not the first time we have been there. You get seated and wait for someone to come to your table. Ask for water and ordered drinks....drinks were served by another wait staff and asked to order the answer always the same " wait for your server"...even if it's water... "wait for your server. Order appetizer, finish, served main dish, appetizer plates and serving dishes on table, order dessert and coffee all the dirty dishes still on table. You have to beg them to clear the table. Not the first time this has happened. Coffee was ice cold, harvest salad was like child's portion..

Food is still great. Love the building design. It is very unfortunate that after Sam Fox sold to Cheesecake Factory the place is getting run down with filthy bathrooms, running out of supplies, bird droppings all over the outside benches, wear and tear...management seems to be lacking and not as able to keeping it as it was an impressive, pristine, well run restaurant.

Two words--Tuna Poke. They were out of salmon and I'm so glad because this was excellent. I would order again and again. My sister loved her pizza and all the salads got a thumbs up. Flourless choc cake was something special as well

Raden was our bartender/server. I had the panang curry with a hard kombucha. It was excellent. I would definitely come back. I appreciate all the gluten free options

I always feel good when I dine at True Food. Lots of healthy choices, caters to everyone, even those with dietary restrictions. My favorite is the charred cauliflower, very nice and light. Favorite drink is the tulsi tea, feels so good on your throat and body. Favorite dessert is the squash pie, no other places serves this! For entree, I like to try whatever is in season and it never fails to impress me. This is the only place where I will eat a kale salad as it is prepared so perfectly, no bitter taste and light dressed. The service is good, attentive servers. I like to sit outdoors if possible as inside tends to get too loud. It's a busy, bustling place, full of joy and excitement. A definite must try and repeat. Reservations are highly recommended.

What a terrible experience at this restaurant. It began when we walked up to the hostess stand to ask about seating. The hostess was unbelievably rude and acted as if we were an inconvenience. 30-45min wait with at least 6 tables that I could see empty and had been empty for some time. Ended up sitting at a table in the bar. The waitress was so slow to greet us, service was slow the remainder of our dining experience...maybe staffing was low? But considering there was an event happening and the mall was packed, that seems strange if it was the case, poor management? The waitress laughed at my husband when he asked if they could make a particular drink - they never provided us a drink menu to know what they had - and again when he asked if they had soda. The food we ordered did taste good which is why they get more than 1 star but the overall experience was rude and condescending. Perhaps they forget they're a restaurant in a mall...hope they don't treat all their guests this way.
