Second time ordering from here for delivery and after an hour they finally cancel the order.. it’s a shame the location near McKellips and Scottsdale Road is a gem. This location needs new management.

An embarrassment to Indian food. Also note that this is a Mix kitchen and not a dine in area. I’m quite sure the chutneys we received were spoilt - it tasted rancid. Please save yourself the headache of going here, I’m sure their dine in location in Tempe is fine, but this is definitely not worth it.

This place is a gem. Retains authenticity being commercial in the area. Good food and nice courteous welcoming staff too. Food tastes awesome. And prices are nominal too. Very nice experience. Kannada people should definitely visit here whenever they crave their food. This is located inside the Kitchen united mix restaurant where you can order food from various restaurants under the same hood. And it is available for pickup only.

Excellent food is not enough to counteract the terrible customer service. This is a takeout location. Food ordered in advance needs to be ready for takeout. The owner seems totally fine ignoring this basic concept and only prepares food when the driver has arrived causing 20+ minute delays. Fix that and this will be a 5 star takeout option

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place due to the lack of customer service. I was excited about the food, but upon arriving, they had not received my order (even though I had an email confirmation and I arrived at the time it said my order would be ready). They took an additional 20 minutes to make my food (and they downgraded my appetizer as my original choice wasn't available) and because I ordered through Udupi's website, the Kitchen United Mix employee was not able to offer me any sort of refund. I was told this is a common issue with this restaurant specifically (their system isn't configured to actually receive online orders, apparently) and to contact Udupi directly. I have reached out via phone and email and have yet to hear back from them. I will not be back.

I placed an online order which was supposed to take 15 min and they even said they were preparing. This was a lie as he was never preparing it. I showed up in 15 min and told them I'm here waiting for my order. The front desk assistant told the chef in the back. I then waited for 20 more min before asking again and was told that the chef wouldn't start my order because he didn't have a ticket and "doesn't trust online orders" and that I should cancel my order and place another one through the kiosk...

I've been a fan of the south Scottsdale Udupi for at least a decade or more. Having a "to go" option so close to home is dangerous! We've been frequent customers during the pandemic. Udupi serves all vegetarian, many vegan, Indian options. The have a mix of north and south Indian dishes, and a few "Americanized" items like pizzas and burgers, with an Indian spin. Our regular order is a couple of dosas (usually Mysore Masala Dosa) and an order of samosa. At first, they seemed to struggle with packaging dosas for to-go food, but now they have it nailed. Our last order was perfectly ready to be put into the toaster oven to reheat! The dosas are lentil or semolina flour crepes full of potatoes and other veggies, and the "mysore" version is spicy, with a layer of chutney on the crepe! The samosas are fresh and delicious, and pack a slight kick. Udupi's chutneys are great as well! I love how many vegan options they have! My only recommendation is that they review all their various order sites and align them! Some items are on the Udupi menu page but not on Kitchen United Mix website, like the Special Rava Masala Dosa, so if I want to take advantage of the "mix" of restaurants I can't get that dosa! While I miss the buffett at the main Udupi restaurant, having vegan to-go dosas nearby has been a real treat during the pandemic!

I order Uber eat and 50% items missing and when we called they said chef left and they will call me tomorrow. What I am gone a eat now . I am from nj and it’s 9:20 pm all the restaurants close . Garage restaurant. Dosa came but no masala inside. Idli with out coconut chutney and whole fried rice missing. I don’t know how this people work . I sleep with empty stomach. They should check before dispatch. We waited 45 minutes for order and what we get ?? Owner should take immediate action. I will tell all my business friends and it friends never order to this restaurant. Garage garage garage service. Not deserve 1 star . Will complain in Uber also .

I didn't know about the ghost kitchen set up in Scottsdale previous to this experience. I drove around for 20 min with Google telling me 'you've reached your destination' Anyway for those of you who don't know,... look for "Kitchen United Mix" sign, right next to Bevmo. Great business hub in the time of pandemic.... I'd heard about the awesome 'family style curry special' udupi was offering thru their website. Placed the order then waited in the ghost lobby for 75 min, then spoke with staff on site, then the owner via telephone uggg, what a shi# show. The things I'll sit thru to save a buck...... I'm giving the ordering system a half star. The food was 'mac daddy bomb' as usual. Butter curry paneer and Vegetable curry. Special was a great price, jumbo portions and had lunch for two days...
