The food was good, but if you've had food in Italy or something similar, you'll understand why it got 4/5 stars. Service was great until the end of the night, as we were left waiting quite a while just to pay the bill. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and I wouldn't hesitate to dine there again. Would recommend.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, with a designated water server ensuring our glasses were always full. This level of care and attention to detail is rare and greatly appreciated. To top it all off, the prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality and variety offered. We left feeling completely satisfied, both with the food and the overall experience. This restaurant is a true gem, and we can't wait to return! And let's not forget the finale – a rich, creamy tiramisu that was divine.

Somehow we have missed trying this place for years. We made a Saturday night reservation and we were seated immediately. The service was great from the start. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Shortly after a plate of warm Italian bread with oil and seasoning arrived. The buchetta appetizer was mounded with toppings. The house salad was loaded with fresh shredded mozzarella with the selected dressings. I had the chicken cacciatore with green beans and my wife had the gnocchi. The presentation and food were all excellent. Water refills never had to be requested. Empty plates were removed quickly. Staff boxed leftovers and delivered them back to the table. There is an outdoor patio available, too. Would not hesitate to return.

Without the frills and prices of trendy upscale new age Scottsdale Italian. This is your spot. Dimly lit, complimentery delicious garlic bread with any order, and just a neighborhood vibe. Look no further. Uncle Sals is yours spot. If you want the Fat Ox type of experience and expensive check, by all means. This is preferable to me.

Love the food and atmosphere but they are not consistent with their customer service at the bar. We’ve been told on numerous occasions that if there’s just 2 of us then we have to sit at a 2-seater not at a 3 or 4-seater but yet today there are 2 people at the only 3-seater and only 3 people at the 4-seater. So the only tables left are 2 seaters. Very disappointing!

As we were getting ready to leave since we we were the last ones to be seated....and weee paying our $700 bill..the kitchen staff came out whistling at us like saying ...Leave . So unprofessional an low class whistling like they treated patrons like DOGS. FIRST OF ALL..THEY NEED TO RESPECT PRONS AND NOT WHISTLE LIKE WE ARE DOGS...WOW! NEVER IN OUR LIVES TRAVELING ALL OVER THE WORLD HAVE BEEN TREATED LIKE THAT WHILE PAYING OUR BILL....DO BETTER WITH YOUR STAFF SAL'S!!

My husband and I were in town to run a local marathon, and Uncle Sal’s had great reviews, so we decided to come here to carb load before race day. I’m so glad we did! What a delicious meal - the complimentary garlic bread was brought out as fast as we could finish the previous basket, the pasta dishes were so fresh and flavorful, and the brownie dessert was indulgently good. Uncle Sal’s is a phenomenal choice if you’re in the mood for Italian!
