Zinburger was great. The food quality was excellent, and the variety of menu items is sufficient for a party of any size.
We dined outside and enjoyed the weather and buzz of the plaza. The staff was attentive and friendly, even during a busier lunch hour.
Overall, the food was fresh and tasty. I would eat here again.

This place used to be “really good” when it first opened, but now it’s just relying on the Location at Scottsdale quarters with the amount of tourism and pass-through. Food is no longer that great especially the burgers they always come out burnt and dry “this is their main draw”. Service has gone from 10/10 to 3/10. Now, I would just say this place is overrated and badly a step up from dive bar food and service. Just very frustrating. I also would recommend to never order for delivery or pick up.

Bar 502 Sunday night, took 50 minutes to get 1 burger fries and a kids burger fries. Wouldn’t care, but they said 20 minutes🤯. Then my daughter’s food was cold, 11 month old had a meltdown waiting for food. Just disappointing as no one there seemed to care at all.

DO NOT go to the Scottsdale Square location. Took out of town people for a casual dinner. Instead of telling us they couldn’t accommodate a party of 5 they placed us at 2 round tables outside. Not good for conversation and kept having to get up to let others out. The service was HORRIBLE. We had to get the manager just to get some drinks. Appetizers took forever. Then they brought out the sides of onion rings and fries before the meal - and they were cold. The sides of dressings were not on the plate with the meal when served and we had to get the manager to get them, so our food got cold. The zucchini fries were soggy. Finally, the check was incorrect and we had to get the waiter 2 times to correct it. Inexcusable….would have been better to be honest and tell us they couldn’t accommodate us. Now we won’t return - ever. First bad meal we have had at any restaurant since moving here in September.

They charge kids menu based on who purchases it - thats ridiculous. I always thought the price we pay for an item is what is mentioned on the menu and NOT who buys it. No other store does it? The store charged a bunch of young adults (16-17 yrs) who ordered from kids menu, the price of adult meal. The kids menu says - "$7.50. Includes a Soft Drink & Choice of French Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, or Ranch Salad", and when they ordered these, they were charged extra for Soft Drink and Fries. This is not right at all and is fraud and not at all expected from this store.

We arrived at 11am on November 10, 2024 and sat in the first or second booth on the left. The waitress was very nice and attentive.
This was our first time and we both decided upon the diner burger, which was good. I also had the truffle fries, while my husband had the regular fries. Overall, we liked the food and figured we would be back.
At the end of the meal, the ticket was brought out. We are used to using tap to pay everywhere we go; however, here, the waitress took our alternate debit/credit card and headed to the back part of the restaurant where we could not see her. Honestly, we didn't think very much about it, as she was so nice during our meal.
That night, 11/10/2024, a couple of very small charges (both less than $1-$2) popped up on our bank statement online. I must preface things and say my husband checks our bank statement every single day of the week. He is meticulous ~ down to the penny, as fraud is so prevalent. Again, we only use tap to pay everywhere we go and never let our cards get out of our sight.
On the night of 11/13/2024, a larger charge for almost $200 was showing on our online bank statement to a business we never heard of or have been to. My husband immediately called Wells Fargo and in their investigation, said that whomever charged this, entered our card information manually. Obviously, the card was cancelled and they will be sending us a new one.
I am not one to accuse, but it is evident the waitress took our debit card information at Zinburger, as we never allow that card to be out of our site. In fact, this is the first time the entire year that a server took our card away from us where we could not see it.
My husband called the restaurant and spoke to a manager on 11/14/2024. The manager was very nice and said he would speak to the others on the leadership team. That was it. He never requested my husband's contact information other than the approximate day/time we were at the restaurant. If one was to look into what might have happened, you would think they would care enough to get the contact information to get back to us with an update.
So, long story short, be careful when using your credit card at Zinburger, as you truly never know when it might be stolen.
