This was terrible. Made a reservation for 6 for Father's day and showed up with the family and restaurant was closed down. Doors locked. How did open table not know?? I received text messages and emails to confirm reservation and the response even said “see you then”. Just an all around awful experience and ruined Father's Day lunch with the family!!!!

I made a reservation on Open Table and was not notified that the restaurant was closed for remodeling. I had a party of 7 and when we arrived, we were shocked to see the restaurant not open and quickly had to find another restaurant for our celebration. I understand about the remodel; however, why was I able to make a reservation for this restaurant on Open Table and also receive confirmation emails and texts reminding me of my reservation? I also received an email asking for feedback about my experience. I think it would benefit Z'Tejas to close the ability to make reservations on Open Table, and the two entities work together to ensure customers receive accurate information about store remodeling/temporary closure.

One star because we booked it through open table and showed up and the Restaurant was closed to menu refresh. So we had to find other plans.

This location is taking reservations on Open Table but it is NOT OPEN. We drove down from Cave Creek only to find a sign on the door saying they are closed until August.

I haven't eaten at Ztecas in many years, maybe even since they left Tempe. I was reminded why I used to go there often. The service was wonderful - and fast. The food was great too, and it was the perfect place for Mother's Day; especially if you're like us & are always looking to escape the crowds in Old Town Scottsdale where we live.

Awesome experience. Great service, ambiance and delicious food. Our entire party ordered something different and everyone was pleased. Awesome margaritas!

Food was good. Service was great. Had to remind the waiter to bring corn bread, which was served a short time before main entrees.

Walked in and there was no one to seat us. We sat there for quite a while and no one asked if we wanted drinks. After we were finally able to order, other people came in and ended up leaving because of the poor service. I ordered the cowboy ribeye and it was small and tough, in all honesty it did not look like a cowboy ribeye and for $50, I was a bit surprised. The atmosphere was a bit dark and impersonal. Anyway long story short, will not go back.

I had a party of 8 for a special birthday and dropped off cake and an orchid plant earlier in the day with specific instructions to place the plant on the table where the guest of honor would sit along with reserving that specific seat for him. Neither was done. Without the orchids, it didn't look festive. As a result, the guest of honor had to sit at the end of the table rather than the middle. This might not sound like a big deal, but I've been in the hospitality business for a long time and this was an avoidable guest disappointment. I'd also say the waiter, while nice and accommodating, didn't have a grasp on all menu items. Training is so important!

Z Tejas Scottsdale is our long time favorite for great Tex Mex food and outstanding margaritas. Chef Danny and his team have a menu of great and enjoyable food and drinks. Manager Paul always greets us with a smile and his team of Bri, Carrie Ann, Alissa, Eddie, Robert and Tre always seem happy to see us and make us feel at home. There are others on the team that we haven't met but I'm sure they measure up to the high standards one would expect and a delightful dining establishment. We love it here! Thanks for making our Easter brunch the best ever. The chicken waffle dish was the best we've ever had.

There was a group of 6. Service was good and the food was excellent. All 6 of us agreed on this and stated we should come back.

It's been great every time we have eaten there. The servers are friendly & very good at making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your dinner experience. The female blonde bartender is so excellent at recognizing us and remembers exactly what beer my husband always orders! We always feel comfortable there every time we visit.

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner, Z Queso to start, just the right amount of spice and Santa Fe enchiladas and mushroom enchiladas for our dinner, two of our favorites. Their Chambord margaritas never disappoint although not as frozen as they were at their previous location, Tatum and Shea. They had their patio doors open which helped with the higher noise level that we've experienced in the past. We went earlier than usual so it was not as crowded as well. Although we were in and out in alittle over an hour, we had to ask our waiter twice for our drinks and check. But we really enjoy the food so we will be returning.

we had a great night with three and five dollar margaritas celebrating national margarita day. They're also is a great special for 19.99. You get a beverage and appetizer and an entrée. The food was delicious.

we really enjoyed our lunch. The shrimp tostada bites are just incredible. The tacos were delicious. We sat outside near the water area and it was so pretty. The waitress was attentive and friendly, and I am looking forward to going back again.
