I have been coming to the Valley Ho and Zuzu for years and I love the food and the atmosphere. The service is always hit or miss. Tonight how ever, the servers set an all time low. I went into the Zuzu bar and literally sat in the corner table next to the bathrooms for 45 minutes. Servers were bringing drinks to every table around me and no-one person took the time to acknowledge and ask if I needed anything. The hostesses always act like they are being inconvenienced when I walk in. I get that I am older and the demographic here is much younger but at least act like you want to help. I literally was a ghost and invisible. Shame, I really love this place.

Been a few years since I’ve been to ZuZu. It has changed and not for the better. Had an omelette and it came out over done as though it sat under a heat lamp. Another person in our party ordered the same omelette and it didn’t have any cheese in it. Food was average at best and service was uninspired. Felt like an overpriced Denny’s. The blackberry jam was delicious as were the home style smashed potatoes.

Beautiful and unique restaurant located next to a hotel. The inside is contemporary and there is a nice outdoor patio area where we had our lunch. The smoked salmon toast was delicious that we got as a starter. I’m a big chorizo fan so I got the Huevos Rancheros and it did not disappoint. My husband got the carne asada burrito enchilada style and it was massive and tasty. The mimosas are $14 for a regular glass and I didn’t see the price on the menu so just a heads up so you aren’t surprised. The chef definitely knows what he is doing (he is listed on the website) and it was a meal we won’t forget. Also the service staff are all friendly and professional.

We haven’t even gotten to eat here yet and I’m wishing we didn’t have to. They make you pay a deposit to hold and confirm your reservation that you can’t get back. And then on top of that I have NEVER received so many calls, emails or txt from one place about “confirming my reservation” when I’ve already done it. I literally had to PAY before even getting there then I’ve received three phone calls, 4 emails and 2 txt messages asking for me to again confirm what I’ve already confirmed.

Service is nowhere near what it was 5 years ago. It's as if management stopped caring. With the remodel, apparently, you threw out exemplary service and chose to settle for mediocre. Culture comes from the top down.
