We were visiting Sedona and ate there twice. The fajitas for two were bountiful and delicious. The achiote chicken enchiladas with red sauce were exceptional. Friendly service and a welcoming, unpretentious ambience. Highly recommended.

We were early for reservation and was no problem. Sat outside on a beautiful day. The shrimp fajitas were really good and the variety of peppers in the fajitas and the salsa are highly recommended.

The Elote appitizer was exceptional. The corn was fresh off the cob, perfectly roasted, with a dressing that was silky smooth. The tortillas used with both plates our table enjoyed were handmade, tender, and tasty. The drink special was a fresh raspberry margarita with hand squeezed lime, no use of bottled mixers. The price for a meal for two with two alcohol drinks and an appitizer was around $100. For a special occasion, this is a wonderful dining experience. But be prepared to walk as public parking is a short trek uphill from the restaurant.

From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. The staff seemed visibly frustrated when we asked to have an umbrella opened on the patio so one of our family members wouldn’t be sitting in direct sun. Shortly after, the check was rushed to us and essentially shoved in our faces, which made it feel as though we were being assumed we might walk out without paying. No one checked on us during the meal, so we didn’t even order everything we had planned. On top of that, one person in our group received the wrong order. We were trying to enjoy our vacation, so we paid and left as quickly as possible. What made this experience especially disappointing was noticing that other patrons around us were treated very differently. This was easily the worst service I’ve experienced in Sedona.

Absolutely incredible Mexican restaurant! The food was insane—every dish was packed with flavor—and the presentation was even cooler than we expected. Huge shoutout to our server, Sean, who was phenomenal and made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere had great vibes all around and really completed the experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area!

100% recommend. We stay in Sedona every year for our anniversary. This year we decided to start our trip at this restaurant and we will forever continue to come to this restaurant the start of our stay if not majority of our stay. The food was absolutely amazing and the Margaritas were perfect. The vibe is casual and cozy but still give vacation vibes. I can't wait to try the other food. Thank you 89 Agave Cantina for the amazing food/drink as well as service.
