Stopped in for some ice cream. It would seem they need more help. As we waited in front of the Tod the ice cream counter behind someone else who was being served. The employee walked away and didn’t return. We stood in the main line for people ordering food, long line and one person taking orders. We ordered two ice cream cones and waited, another person came and was making milk shakes..ok, still waiting. The person who took our order came and made our 1 scoop ice cream cone. They need help and an attitude adjustment. 9-1-25

I ordered the Oak Creek burger which was supposed to have 2 patties with ghost pepper jack cheese, hatch chiles, pickes, boom boom sauce and garlic aioli. What I got were 2 small chewy unseasoned dry patties that tasted like they were cooked in a microwave, swiss cheese, tomato and no green chiles. It was very bland, small and unsatisfying for the price.

AJ’s in the Canyon is such a cool spot! I’m visiting from Virginia, and the drive alone was worth it — the scenic canyon route getting there was absolutely stunning. Once we arrived, we were blown away by the views from the restaurant. The burgers were some of the best I’ve had — juicy, flavorful, and just hit the spot after the drive. And I have to give a big shoutout to Max for making the most amazing affogato with salted caramel Blue Bell ice cream. The combo of the rich espresso and that creamy, sweet ice cream was unforgettable. Between the food, ice cream, and the scenery, I’m so glad we found this place — can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Sedona!

AJ's sits in a beautiful location in Oak Creek Canyon. I had the Oak Creek Burger, it was awesome, and the price was good. I'll definitely be back.

When there’s nowhere to go in Sedona, you can go to AJs in the canyon. Wonderful little shop in Sedona with a gift/souvenir section. Nice spot for lunch as well. Will definitely be back.
