We had dinner here on a whim. Our server Chelsea S was phenomenal. She recommended a great bottle of wine and was very friendly. The atmosphere is lovely and so is the food. Definitely recommend the coconut shrimp if you’re into shrimp.

Best steak & lobster anywhere!

They have a nice atmosphere of an old world designed restaurant, and the live music was nice on the Saturday night. However, 2 $11 deserts ended up being $40 due to a $10 cover charge that we weren't informed of.
What did not help was the dessert ended up giving my wife and I food poisoning. It was a simple chocolate lava cake and a creme brulee, both of which were very mediocre.

Wait staff was good with service and attentive. Shrimp scampi was decent but not hot enough when arrived. Meatballs and spegetti were best entree. Ciopino with seafood was also good, loved the freshly made pasta. Sauces were good but not great. Old school red decor and old world charm.

We ordered take out from here and the food was pretty bad and we spent $275 for three people. The saffron risotto (tasted like burned plastic) and the regular risotto was incredibly sour so neither edible. Super disappointing.

I take my guests as the food, service, and fact; you can have a conversation, which makes for an enjoyable experience!

We LOVE this restaurant! We have been here both times we have traveled to Sedona. Tony was our server, he was helpful with selections and a delight. We each ordered different entrees and were very pleased; steak, trout, oso bucco, pasta. The desserts were also amazing. It is a little out of town, the drive is beautiful and well worth it.

This place is awesome! We started out at the bar and had a few drinks with Ray the bartender. Had a few laughs then moved to the dining room. The ambiance was great. The room is filled with giant chairs that were very comfortable. I had the seafood pasta which was amazing! My wife had the pasta carbonara which she said was the best she's ever had. I agreed when I tasted it. Don't miss this place. It is a little out here of town, but definitely worth the trip!

First, the positives. We did not have to wait for a table (though they did seem to be unaware of our booking) The bread served initially was good. 2 of the 4 of us thought their ($45 each) meal was ‘ok’ though it looked mediocre and over priced to me.
The surroundings were dismal, and the other 2 meals - Rigatoni Napoli and Linguine Carbonara were both poor and overpriced.
Overall, this was a disappointing and expensive experience, requiring improvement all around. I cannot recommend this Restaurant.

This was our first time to dine at Bella Vita. Initially we were very pleased with the atmosphere and menu choices. Our server was quick to respond to our table and take our drink order. The red sangria was excellent. Following the delivery of drinks, the server took our order for an appetizer and dinner entrees. We had a very short wait for our salad, which was excellent and immediately followed by our appetizer of fried calamari, topped with deep fried shreds of zucchini. It to was excellent. Then, the bottom fell out. We waited and waited for our entrees. The restaurant didn't seem to be very busy and we kept thinking ours would be out soon. Along with that, our table was very close to the order input terminal, so our server was passing by our table several times. After approximately 35 minutes of waiting our server came over and told us she delivered our meals to the wrong table and was asking the kitchen to prepare fresh entrees for us. She left and immediately returned with our two entrees. They didn't appear to be fresh as the pasta was clumped and the marinara sauce didn't have that fresh shinny sheen to it. We ate part of our dinner and decided we had enough and were ready to leave. We make 2 - 3 trips to Sedona every year, but Bella Vita will not be part of our future trips. If an apology or an offer to comp part of the meal had been offered, we may have considered to give them another try in the future, but that was not the case.
