During our visit to Sedona, we decided to take a break from all the wonderful Mexican spots and try Bella Vita Ristorante. Tucked away in a small resort just outside the bustle of town, this little gem felt like a quiet escape. The atmosphere is cozy, softly lit, and inviting—older in décor but full of charm and character. The service was excellent. Chelsea was friendly, attentive, and clearly took pride in the food she served. We appreciated her thoughtful recommendations and warm personality throughout the meal. Unassuming and full of old-world charm, Bella Vita was a delightful surprise. I ordered a delicious eggplant dish from the Happy Hour menu, while my husband enjoyed the Bolognese with Italian sausage. The portions were generous, the flavors authentic, and the service impressively prompt. If we lived nearby, this would easily become one of our regular go-to restaurants.

We ordered 2 pasta primavera meals, one with salmon added, from the $20.00 early bird menu. The food and beverages came out quickly and both were excellent.

The food quality was terrible. I took my wife there to celebrate her birthday and we were extremely disappointed. The wine was delicious but the food was over salted and lacked quality. The “homemade” fettuccine noodles were overcooked and slimy. The crab was supposed to come in the meal was nonexistent. The food was overpriced for such a low quality and the decor was dated. I felt bad for taking my wife here for her bday. I wouldn't recommend it or go back!

The service was nice but this restaurant is really dated. The menu was traditional Italian. The caprese salad was just ok with beefsteak tomatoes instead of Roma tomatoes. The chicken limon was ok - it wasn't too warm and had a bunch of sauce on it. Wouldn't come again

Our food was delicious, our server Tony was delightful. It was our anniversary and they made it extra special - they also gave outstanding tour guide suggestions!

Overall it was just average when describing the food and service. Maybe because we dined here on s Monday and the atmosphere was dull.

Service was great when we visited with a party of six. Though, it would have been nice to have 2 bowls of bread and oil to share across the tables that fit oversized, plush chairs.

We enjoyed our meals. Mine was a white sauce pasta with added chicken.

Chelsea was our server. Extremely slow and inattentive. She sat at bar while salads were still not delivered. Salads showed up after we reminded her 5 minutes before entrees asking where they were. Entrees showed up warm. Waitress never checked on food or drinks. Had to request 1st refill of pasta on Wednesday unlimited spaghetti and meatballs. Thankfully the refill came hot! She showed up for bill pay. Large gratuity included of about $54 that she did not earn for our party of 9. Never bussed any dishes during between bread and damage or after dinner. Had a stack 6 high. AGAIN she was sitting at bar while other servers bussed her table.

We have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions and the food and service have always been good except this last time.
The server was an older lady who flat out refused to do anything except take our order. Anything we asked for the answer was no.
We asked for lemon in our water, she said they were out of lemon, the minute people sat on other tables sat around us, they all got lemons in their waters.
We asked for split checks she said she doesn’t know how to do it and if she is to figure it out it would take her a long time.
The first thing she said to us when we sat down and asked her she was doing, was that they were short staffed.
The couple next to us ordered, but when they received their food, one of the orders was incorrect, the same waitress told them that she can put cheese on it and it will be the same as what they had originally ordered.
I called later to speak to the manager, the “manager” hesitated before saying yes when I asked if he was the manager.
When I told him what happened he apologized and said if you get the same server next time you come ask for another server, and tell them the manager is offering us a 50%. After this experience I honestly don’t even want a free meal from that place.
It seems like they really don’t care about their service, it is a hit or miss, and if you get bad service they don’t care about making it right.

I thought the food lacked flavor. The lasagna was not as described on the menu. Friendly staff. Fast service.

Excellent. We would return in a heart beat. Nice quiet atmosphere. Bartender made excellent cocktails. I had the rigatoni and sausage and peppers. Very tasty. I would order again.

Food & service average. Noise level terrible. Wine selection poor - very few domestic wines.

Our waiter Tony was amazing as always. Food was great. Enjoyed our evening. The only not great thing is the food came out very slow. That is a first.
