We made dinner reservations for outside in hopes of being near the creek. Unfortunately due to the cold temps and higher river we couldn't sit near it. We were sat by the outdoor bar which seems a lot more casual. We seemed to share a waiter with the bar (which would get packed at times) and he was very very busy. Kind of felt like we were an afterthought and just would come by when he absolutely needed to. For upscale dining where someone is spending almost $200 per person - I just expect more to be honest. But food wise- the burrata was fabulous, my filet and roasted vegetables were amazing and the chocolate mousse was also yummy. My husband was a bit disappointed to only have 3 shrimp on his dish. He left hungry.

Cress is a nice little restaurant with great service and the food is very nicely presented and fresh We went in the evening so the view from the large windows over Oak Creek was missed

The service was great! The menu is limited. I had the Burger and it was delicious just not sure worth $35. The French Press coffee was delicious and the presentation was beautiful although $17? You are catering to a certain clientele and I get it. But unfortunately ruling out those on a budget.

I came here with my parents and we had a lovely time. We made our reservation for outside but unfortunately it was raining when we went. They were still able to sit us outside under the covered patio, and could still partially see/hear the creek from where we were sitting, and it was beautiful. I got the chia seed pudding as I was looking for a light breakfast, and it was delicious. The servers were very attentive and accommodating. I would definitely come here again!

The restaurant is in a lovely setting and the food was good, though not outstanding. However, the service left a lot to be desired. We were there for breakfast. Our wait person was very nice but we did not see her after she took our order. No one ever came by during the entire meal to refresh coffee. I had to flag someone down to make my second request to get a clean knife to replace my dirty one. I had to flag someone down to make my second request to get sweetener for my coffee. And to top it off, valet parking is the only option available and we were charged $17 to park for breakfast.

Food was good. Service was great. A bit overpriced. They forced us to valet park, which was a rip off because they charged us $17.00 for the valet parking when we left. I was shocked.

The best thing about this place is the setting. The menu is very limited. The service wasn’t great. We waited quite a long time to order and get our food then it was crickets. I was never offered more water and never brought water when I asked. The prices were quite high for the food too.

Unfortunately the bees were out so couldn't sit on waters edge but can't control those little guys with stingers.

Very friendly staff, food was extremely meh for the price. Had the Salmon Benedict, the sauce was over zessed and overpowered with lemon, basic otherwise. Parking is $17. Overall Not worth it.

We dined b the creek and were very comfortable due to heavy duty heaters. We chose the tasting menu and had a nice bottle of Chardonnay. The food and presentation were tops.

The ambience at the creekside table and the service were outstanding. The food and drink were expensive ($53 for two large scallops, $68 for mediocre halibut, $22 cocktails) and the food was good but nothing special. It added up to a delightful though expensive outing with friends.

I rarely ever post a low rating but after spending $500+ on dinner here I feel like I need to. Let me start by saying the food was great and the atmosphere was surreal. The service aside from our server was also good. Our server is another story. I came here for my wife's 30th birthday with my newborn baby and mother-in-law. Our server completely butchered my last name which we had a laugh at. However as the night progressed he kept forgetting and mispronouncing all of our names even after I corrected them. For a high end restaurant I also don't need passive aggressive jokes every time I'm being asked something. Please be professional as we try to enjoy a special night out which rarely happens now that we have a baby.

Unfortunately for these reasons I will probably be going to other high-end restaurants in Sedona which feel more professional and respectful while serving you.

Beautiful place to enjoy a dinner on the creek. Staff is great. Not cheap but great for a special night out.

Just lovely. Was sad we couldn't sit by the river because apparently bees or yellow jackets come out and attack the food this time of year? But fortunately they have a lovely deck where you can sit above the creek and look out. At first service seemed a little slow but then picked up once we got our order in. The food was delicious! We were there for breakfast. Highly recommend.

I made a reservation online for lunch, creekside. When I showed up I was told that a text was sent letting me know that they were not serving any lunch that there was a beehive and they were only serving the bar menu. I never received any text or email and we ended up leaving because the customer service was so poor. Additionally it's $17 to valet park. Since we didn't eat there we didn't have to pay for parking. Apparently in October there's a lot of beehives and this can happen at any time. We end up having a wonderful lunch at Tlaquepaque at Rene's
