After a full day exploring Sedona’s art galleries and scenic overlooks, this taco truck was the perfect way to wrap things up! We tried the birria, flautas, and tinga — everything was flavorful, authentic, and clearly made with care. The owner was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
If you’re in Sedona and craving delicious, genuine Mexican food, definitely stop by and support them!

Best tacos I've had. Definitely worth the detour.
Recommended dishes: Al Pastor
I drove here during their listed business hours and they are not open even though both google and the sign on the truck say they should be open.
We had the Asada, Pástor, and Chicharron taco... best tacos we ever had. Nice touch with the fresh lime, cucumbers, cilantro, and onions. The two sauces were also delicious... the green less spicy than orange colored one. They do have a tent with tables, chairs, and napkins so convenient to eat on the spot. Definitely will come back to try some of their other menu items.

As a local here in Sedona, I’ve tried just about every Mexican spot in town and I can honestly say Cuates is on another level. The al pastor tacos were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, and the asada burrito was huge, juicy and absolutely delicious. This is hands down the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in Sedona. The food truck vibe is super laid back and the service is always friendly. If you’re craving real, quality Mexican food this is the spot for sure!

Wow!!! Got a tinga pollo burrito today. It was WAAAAY too big for me to finish and was absolutely amazing. My mouth is still watering. I gave half of the burrito to my coworker and he finished it before i could type this review. Definitely my new go to spot in sedona for Mexican food. Great service as well. Extremely fast and both people were very friendly.

Excellent tacos. Fresh made tortillas and sopes, well-seasoned and cooked meats, very flavorful salsas. Highly recommend.

We stopped here before heading out for ann excursion. We were quickly greeted and our orders taken. I ordered two tacos and a burrito. Everything was and delicious! The tacos were big with lots of meat in them. The asada and chicken tinga was spot on flavor. The green salsa is bursting with flavor and the red salsa has a nice kick to it! This was such a great spot to try!
