Were it not for the very good waiter, I would give this a 1 star. We both got the ground beef tacos. The meat was in chunks of hamburger and basically without any flavor. There are many good options on that street. Look elsewhere for better food.

Prices are ridiculous for the low quality and small portions. Find anywhere else to eat if you can.

The only part of our experience that was good was the service and the margarita. If you are looking for good food- I would say it’s not a good fit. We started with chips and queso and the cheese sauce tasted like it came out of a can of nacho cheese sauce you could buy at Sam’s. My daughter’s very pricey chicken quesadilla was dry and just thrown on the plate with no garnish or anything… very poor presentation and not tasty. My husband and I both got the smothered burritos- he got steak and I got chicken. This was not what I call smothered- very little sauce barely covered the burritos… and the meat was overcooked. The burrito was so dry we didn’t even finish… not worth the money at all.If you want to go out for margaritas- this is a great option. And again- the service was fantastic.

What a great experience. We were waiting for an outdoor table but then we met Joe! Joe treated us so well at the bar that we decided to stay and have lunch with him. Great service! Deliciously perfect meal! Joe totally made this a great afternoon. Thanks! We will be back.

Great food and service. Would highly recommend this place compared to 89Agave Cantina next door. Servers were on point with a smile. Margaritas are on point.

Super cold place with doors left open, manager refused to give me another table that was open. Terrible service and they charged 20% tip.

Food was good but not exceptional.Wish the chips and salsa were complementary, but it was good regardless.

I was looking for someplace new in uptown Sedona when I spotted a Mexican restaurant and a parking spot nearly in front. I took this as a sign to try Don Diego's. Gigi enjoyed the Birria Quesatacos saying it was the best shredded beef she has had in Sedona. I had a shredded beef burrito. I agree the beef was good. I would prefer it without rice and beans inside of the tortilla. Our waiter, Tony, was helpful with my questions and courteous in a busy tourist restaurant. BTW: the usual chips were quite good including 3 salsa choices, hot, mild and queso.
