There are no words to describe the experience that is Elote Cafe in Sedona. There is a reason this place is rated as the number 1 place to eat in Sedona. I feel the name is so underwhelming because it’s so much more than a cafe! I had high expectations coming in and I was absolutely blown away.

First things first- MAKE A RESERVATION! Many people who came in even at 8:30pm were turned away because they didn’t have a reservation. It is always packed so do yourself a favor and secure a reservation. The food…wow the food- every single morsel we ate was amazing. Clearly the theme is corn and having corn in so many different ways was an experience in and of itself! For appetizers, we had the best Short Rib Quesadilla, Elote was tangy and flavorful and the Fundido was deliciously cheesy. The Corn Crusted Scallops were out of this world!
For entrees, We ordered the Brisket Enchiladas which were absolutely amazing. My husband ordered the Pork Cheeks and said it was super tender and one of the best pork dishes he has ever eaten. My brother in law ordered the Carne Asada which was incredibly delicious. Save room for dessert! That corn cake with the Guava ice cream is the perfect finisher! The Cookies and Cream sandwich Corn Cookie was great as well! Overall, I would come here every weekend if we lived closer.

The service was great and our waiter was kind and offered suggestions on what to order- they also quickly came to clear the used plates away and refill drinks which we appreciated. Already can’t wait for our next weekend trip to Sedona and Elote Cafe will be our first stop!

First time to try Elote cafe after seeing great reviews and the chefs cookbook in a local store and to say it was amazing is an understatement.
Kanan was our server and gave great recommendations on the items and knew the menu and how each item was prepared like a seasoned pro.

We ordered the goat cheese ball appetizers which were delicious and for the main course we had the Lamb adobo, halibut and the carna asada.
All were amazing and full of flavor and prepared perfectly. We ended with the chocolate pie and a seasonal after dinner drink which made to a perfect ending to our meal.
I never buy cookbooks but was so impressed with the meal we bought both to try and recreate some of the salsa at home. The chef even took time to meet us and sign a copy.
Do yourself a favor and make a reservation and enjoy an exceptional service from the front door staff to all the service personal at Elote.

Brought family back for second visit and was once again amazing!!!!!

Great quality food and ambiance. However, more fish and vegetarian options should be made available.

Wow!!! We were lucky to get into Elote without reservations and only waited about 15 minutes and we are so happy we have it a try. We have dined at some pretty amazing restaurants all over the country and out and this is definitely one of the best! The elote appetizer is a must! It’s all in the name. Ate it until the last bite. The goat cheese balls were good but the elote overshadowed everything. I had the shrimp and pork belly and my husband had the brisket enchiladas and both were absolutely fantastic! I would go back and keep ordering the same over and over again. The drinks are great as well!

Elote is widely recognised as the best restaurant in Sedona and hence we had to pay a visit here. I can totally see why this restaurant has such good reviews. The food was truly fantastic and there wasn’t a single dish which we felt wasn’t up to the mark.

Among the starting courses we ordered the Elote and the Green Corn Tamal, both of which were exquisite. All of us really liked the Elote. In the mains, we ordered the Duck Carnitas and the Pork Belly & Shrimp. The Duck Carnitas was top notch and I would definitely recommend ordering that. For dessert, we tried their special sundae which also hit the spot.

We also tried a few cocktails which were good too. Service was quite pleasant and we were well taken care of by the restaurant staff.

Would definitely recommend a visit to Elote for all those visiting Sedona. You simply can’t miss coming to this establishment for a meal.

This place was highly recommended so I wanted to try. The flavors of the food were good, service was good, the only downside is the food came out room temp.

The food and drinks were good. The service was subpar. The hostess was not welcoming, we were a few minutes late for our reservation and she chastised me for being late, and then said we had one hour to eat our meal! Service was slow and she continuously circled, glaring at our table. I have never been "greeted" that way at a restaurant.
Plenty of other friendly, hospitable restaurants in the area.

Jeff and team create amazing dishes here. My personal favorites: brisket enchiladas and Mexican chocolate pie with an added scoop of vanilla agave ice cream. That vanilla agave is life changing. I'd give a body part to eat these again!

The carne asada with blue cheese is also delicious. And the elote itself is really good.

Staff is wonderful, ambiance is perfect.

Love everything about Elote.

Wonderful experience. Came in with friends on our friends trip for a nice dinner. Canin (sorry I spelled your name wrong!) was a GREAT server. He was so friendly and made really good suggestions. The pork belly tacos and the corn scallops were phenomenal. Even the people at our table that didn’t like tequila enjoyed the margaritas. Overall a great stop if you are in Sedona.

This is the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Kanen was an excellent server and had great knowledge of the menu and answered all our questions. The food was delicious, especially the Grilled Halibut and prickly pear & Serrano cocktail.

Fantastic! Split the Ensalada de Romaine, small guacamole and Carne Asada with my husband. It was more than enough food for two and yet we cleaned the plates. The Fresco Margarita was the perfect accompaniment. Best meal out we've had in recent memory. Will return next time we're in Sedona!
