FOOD---I am totally amazed. The burrata pizza is easily one of, if not, the best pizza I've ever had. Seriously, order that if you're here. Quality ingredients, probably $5+ worth of burrata alone, and great balsamic. The sausage pizza was also noteworthy, the handmade fennel sausage is a treat and the sauce is quality.SERVICE---There's a bit of a wait, but it's completely worth it. 45 minutes getting in a while after the big dinner rush happened. Servers were nice! Sadly forgot my server's name but I'd say it if I knew.ATMOSPHERE+MENU---Great, you can sit in or out and see the chef if you're inside. Smells great inside and there's a bar, if that matters. The menu is broad enough that you can get things for the whole party and small enough to avoid choice paralysis. They have dessert as well! It costs more than most pizza, but you get what you pay for and more.Vegetarian options: They have a pizza for you guys. If friends want to go, join them!

Very tasty pizza topped with fresh ingredients. Pizza similar to Italy, not American. Friendly service.

Best Italian in AZ! Fresh ingredients, my sister and I split house salead and margarita pizza. Best pizza ever! The guys got bolognese on special, not an empty plate. Leave room for dessert, we had cannolis and homemade lemon cello version of triamsu. Fantastic local hidden spot! The owner is a peach! Service was outstanding, all the staff love working there - it so obvious. Thanks for a great dinner last week.

What an amazing place. True Italian atmosphere, but most important real Italian food. We shared the Neapolitan pizza with 'nduja (creamy sausage from Calabria), Spinach ravioli, and the mozzarella trio (homemade mozzarella, burrata and stracciatella, very delicious). They prepare the bread too, very thick italian focaccia. We also met Gerardo, the owner, who is a very great host.We highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have a real taste of Italy (we will visit it again for sure). And, as the final recommendation (you can read it on the table papers): ask for the uncut pizza, and enjoy cutting it and tasting it a piece at the time, as the Italians do. It's much better!!!

Gerardo’s was on our list for new restaurants to try. We went with our friends to celebrate a birthday. The server Jackie was so attentive and sweet! She made sure our drinks stayed topped off and we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely outstanding!! Our two friends that recently visited Italy said that the food and drinks were an exact match. Totally authentic and delicious! We will be revisiting Gerardo’s soon, it’s going to be a new regular spot for us.

Dare I say one of the tastiest pizzas I have had! My only regret was I forgot to ask for the pizza uncut, which is a fun (traditional?) practice they do. The dough was light and fresh, the sauce was tasteful and really stood out, and the cheese was excellent. Would love to try one again.

Legit pizza crust, had the carnivore added garlic. Ambiance is fun with a view of the wood fired oven behind the bar. This is a must stop when visiting Sedona.

What a disappointment. We ordered appetizers, salads, pizza and a special. All dishes were mediocre. Our pizza was soggy and dough was literally raw inside. Lettuce in salad was visibly spoiled. It's way too loud inside and parking was packed. We waited almost an hour for a table. Patio was charming and beautiful. This was our second time trying Gerardo's. Sadly the last.

Big G is an amazing host and G Jr can crank out some amazing pies. Waited 45m to sit with my very pregnant wife and Big G stopped over a few times to bring us drinks and talk through basically the entire menu. When we got our table he had the best fresh focaccia I've had waiting for us. Can't wait to stop in again on our next trip to Sedona.
