Not open. Smelled like someone burned a brisket
No doubt, Heartline has yummy food. 4 out of the 5 times we have eaten there it was phenomenal! However my review is based on more than just the food. I booked a wedding reception with the owner Phyills for 5.10.20 in early 2019, while none of us could have seen covid coming that was not our only issue. There was never a formal contract made for the event but we (my groom, bridal party and myself) were told we would get the entire day of the wedding for a restraunt buy out fe
Bummer, this was one of our favorite places, but they are now closed! We just went there today and the whole place was empty of all tables and chairs and decor. Lots of leaves and debris in the entry way. We're sad, no more poached pears! Hopefully they will be able to come back!
Fantastic food and great staff!!!
Nice owners!
This is one of my all time fave spots. Nice high-class atmosphere with good prices. They give you alot of food and it's always good.
I've lived in Sedona for 15 years, I've grown up with this place.
Give it a chance and you'll cherish it also
Amazing courtyard and ribeye, fantastic service
Just a note, not open for breakfast since 2015. Google has failed to updated listing.
Good but pricey. . . A little overpriced imho.
Restaurantji Recommends
I feel bad because I have been meaning to give this place a review for about a month, but better late than never. The food here is amazing and top notch, minus the scallops which I would not recommend. But besides the scallops everything else I had was so incredible that I can't stop thinking about it
Scallop dinner with rice and vegetables was very good. Other dinner was prime rib, but unfortunately, the prime rib was tough. side dish was mashed potatoes which was excellent. Ambience was fine and noise level was very low.
The food was delicious!! The music choice was really not what I had expected and kind of distracted from the food, but everything was so tasty and the wait staff was very attentive!!
We chose The Heartline as the TripAdvisor highest rated American cuisine restaurant with an available 6:00 p.m. reservation when we visited Sedona on Valentine's Day. Our last minute decision limited our choices. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is nice. The staff and service were excellent. They have a nice wine list. My sole quibble: For this special day they adopted a prix fixe limited menu at an elevated price. The quibble goes more to the practice of the restaurant industry than to Heartline specifically. The practice allows the restaurant to turn their tables by serving assembly-line food. To that end a couple of observations. The service was a bit on the rushed side and I was called two days before my reservation and had to give all my credit card information in order to hold my reservation. As to the food, I'm confident the very good filet spent the day in a sous vide. The soup and salad were fine but of course they were all the same as every other diner received. For me the desert didn't not measure up to the rest of the meal. It had a real off-the-shelf feel. Bottom line - would I return - yes and I'll bet the regular menu is top notch and the service more relaxed.
The Atmosphere and Service was absolutely amazing and Great. However, the food was not impressive. My Girlfriend and I Both ordered a Ribeye steak Med Rare and mine was very good, cooked to perfection. Her's, on the other hand was very tough, hard to cut. We thought maybe the knife wasn't sharp enough but we traded knives and that wasn't the problem. The salad served along with the meal left something to be desired as it was bland and no taste. Bombarded with nuts and cranberries yet no flavor. Desert was the worst part of the meal. Dry chocolate cake and Strawberry Cheesecake so tart that my taste buds went into shock. How the chef could put something out so un-edible is beyond me. It would seem the chef may have no taste buds left from eating his own food or none at all.
