Really nice food but the service was a little hit and miss. We ordered soft drinks that didn't arrive and were also presented with another table's food at one point.

After waiting 15 minutes at our table (that was in the lounge area)with no one approaching us even to fill our waters we moved over to the bar & the night got rolling. The highlight was our bartender whose passion about the food and drinks was contagious. Mole was the standout !

We had an entire day of hiking behind us and wanted good food and margs to end our day. Javelina Cantina didn't disappoint. We sat outside and enjoyed the view. The chips and salsa were a perfect starter. Although, don't eat too much or you'll have to pay $3 for a refill. We ordered a margarita flight (roundabout) and one blood orange marg. The blood orange was, hands down, the best. So flavorful and refreshing. The jalapeno was a close second. And the prickly pear didn't have much flavor. For food I went with the fajita salad. I didn't like the little taste of creme fraiche that was supposed to be my salad dressing, but it didn't need it. I mixed everything else together and it was perfect. I felt healthy eating it but also full. We also got a quesadilla and chicken enchiladas. Both of which were just as good. None of us really cared for the creme fraiche, but the food was so good none of us needed it. And, while I didn't bring my dog, they had a dog friendly portion of the menu. So bring your dog. And ask for Reto, he was a great server.

The waiter took my order 3 times, he brought me the meal but it was someone else’s order. He asked again what my order was and then brought it 20 minutes after everyone else. We had a large group and they would not do separate bills. The service was not great.

Food was good, but wait was very long, our waiter was very inexperienced and kept forgetting things to the point that we had to go to the "front desk" to ask for the rest of our meal components. This was midweek and about 75-80% occupied. Also, music was VERY LOUD, which made it difficult to have a normal conversation ( there were 6 of us). Not a pleasant experience and tip was automatically added at 20% plus 3.5% credit card surcharge

This place had a really cool vibe overall. It is a bit pricey but still pretty comparable to the rest of the other restaurants in Sedona. Manager was super friendly and got us as quickly as possible and a busy night. Make sure you try the margarita flights. They are great to share and a good value.Service was a little bit slow and dishes weren’t cleaned up right away, but the food and everything else made up for it. The vibe of the place was a lot of fun. Definitely go for the fajitas if you want some good Mexican. The burger was also pretty good just a tad overcookedIt can get a bit pricey, and there are a few fees here and there for things such as $3 refills, $3 to add jalapeños, $3 credit card fee or a $7 split plate charge. Overall, a solid option for dinner though.

Off the main drag… margaritas are a bit pricey but very tasty… food was great.. I had the roast chicken enchiladas with goat cheese… loved it.. check them out you won’t be disappointed…
Waitress forgot my wife's drink and my hot sauce. The meal was too spicy ? and my waitress left me hanging on the waters until it was time for our check.

Great location, just as you come into Sedona from the South on 89A. Reservations are available. They have a happy hour. The drinks are great, especially their house margaritas. They also have a happy hour menu of apps that are really good. You won't be disappointed.

Great food however service was slow and we were offered food that wasn't ours and never got some of our drinks that we ordered. Thankfully they weren't on the bill but it was never acknowledged that they were missing.
