This was our first of, hopefully, many visits. This was lunch for us. Great service provided by Joni. I have a food allergy and Joni was careful to check their sauces and desserts for me. Food was excellently prepared. The deep fried mushrooms were crisp and crunchy on the outside while being tender and flavorful inside. Great mushroom flavor came through. My spouse loves Reuben sandwiches and this one ranks as top notch. She really liked the thousand Island dressing on the side, so the sandwich had wonderfully crisp bread. I had the daily special of roast beef au jus. Good flavor and tender beef. This also had great sturdy bread that soaked up the dipping juice while keeping its form. Our desserts were a slice of pecan pie & carrot cake. We liked both but the pecan pie was our favorite, although the size of the cake slice was impressive. The pecan pie is pierced from the top to allow a dark chocolate sauce to fill in those voids. Yes, it tastes as good as it sounds. Some local beers along with regular brands were available. Wines are reasonably priced. I look forward to sampling some bottles later.
We made a reservation for lunch but there were tables available if you want to try your luck.
We look forward to returning.

Our group of four had a wonderful meal and evening. We met and talked with the owner, Alice, her daughter, Andre, and our waiter from Rhodesia. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the dining room was lovely. We will return every time we come to Sedona.

Came in for dinner with my wife. Absolute gem of a place! I had the special which was a fish and she had a pasta. Both very good but the dessert after was amazing. Absolute must!

Nice little place tucked away a block off 89. It's been around a while now being run by the former chef/cook. Very eclectic atmosphere, solid food, and service

I opted to only have half of my Club Sandwich 🥪 to save space for the devine made from scratch Pistachio Ice Cream 🍨! The wait staff was very personable as well! I would frequent the place if I lived in the area!

My new favorite on Thursdays! The music really makes it worth the drive from Cottonwood. Every dish we have had has been delicious, and we can tell there's been love poured into each homemade recipe. Save room for dessert. We will be back.

Ok, is this the best food and dining experience in Sedona?
No. If you are a tourist, this isn't high-end, and your expectations will disappoint if you dont lower them. If you are local and you don't like tourists check it out.
First, the service is excellent. I have read reviews that they were bad and unprofessional. That is not what we have experienced over the years. The hostesses have been wonderful, and our server, Matt, was great. Dont fall for the Alice (the owner)is in the kitchen speech, she is always in the kitchen ex wednesdays.
Second, the food is solid, good, home cooking. If you are looking for fine cuisine, forget it. This is Mom's cooking. Fresh and tasty, and with a little love. Plenty to choose from, we like to go with the pastas and stay away from the steaks. The portions have gotten smaller all over Sedona, and this is the case here. Desserts are just ok, but you can't go wrong with the ice cream.
Third, the atmosphere is great. Is the place dated? You bet! Old tables with no tablecloths and no views. BUT! They have live music that is appropriate and fun. Not to loud, and you can play name that tune. These guys were fun and they appreciated that we appreciated them! The place is comfortable and if you like that, I think you will like this.
Conclusion, it is not the Hudson, it is not Mariposa, or Dahl and Deluca, or many others in Sedona. But if you are looking for a nice local night out, with good food, a nice and inviting atmosphere, a decent value, and nice people around you, open your mind, lower your inflated expectations of what all restaurants should be (and yourself for that matter), and try it!

Judi's is my favorite restaurant in Sedona. Family owned with great food and specials. I begin craving their BBCCCCP (Butter Brickle Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Pie) as soon as I start planning the trip.
