Juniper Bar & Grille at Sedona Golf Resort

Took out of town guests here on Sunday afternoon for appetizers and drinks, knowing that view is amazing and the food and service are usually very good. Today was not that day. Server was not attentive at all, spent most of his time by the bar on his phone and drinking water or something, and barely came around and checked on us, didn’t comment on why food taking so long, even thought we were only 1 of two tables in the entire place at the time. We ordered a small amount of food and it took 25 min to get it. I had nachos and the meet was cool.
There were several workers going in and out of the door area by the bar and none seemed to mind that the server was on his phone, was drinking from his drink in plain sight of the customers. As a former server, this was very unprofessional. Thought this place would have a better training program, and be more aware of what their staff is doing. Even thought it’s an off peak time of day, you cannot let your customer service slip.
Not sure I’ll be back anytime soon.

The location is beautiful. Our server was very nice when they finally came and took or order. The food was barely edible and looked to be thrown together from leftovers. Would not recommend. Local woman left while we were waiting for our food and complained how downhill the place is going.

Can I just say. Not only does this place have amazing views of the red rocks, but the Staff here is also incredible. Justine is truly a Rockstar. She is attentive, kind and genuine!! She also makes INCREDIBLE drinks! Do yourself a favor and stop here when you are visiting Sedona. I highly HIGHLY recommend it! Thank you so much Justine, I will be coming back!!!!

I just recently golfed at the course wow it was beautiful and well maintained. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. Olivia the cart girl was very nice and made served me breakfast burrito and water the burrito was really good.
