This was my second visit, and it has been over 10 years since the first visit. It was Thanksgiving Day, so very busy. We didn't want traditional, but we wanted to get out of the house. I saw the person next to me with Fish in Chips, and they use Red Snapper, so I was intrigued and ordered it. My plate came and my fish was fried very dark and ultra crispy; one bite tasted slightly burnt. Our waiter was great, he took it back and returned with a fresh plate, but not sure if it was the same fish; it was cut differently. The drinks were good, and my crab cake appetizer was pretty good. On the fence about eating here again.
Wonderful experience on Thanksgiving 2025. They accommodated my wife, son, and two doggos with amazing service and exceptional food. All of this in one of the most unique settings you can find, a private airport on the top of a red rock mesa. Highly recommended!
They accommodated us earlier than our reservation and the service was very friendly. Everyone was happy with their dinner selections.
The views of the airport and mountains were spectacular. The food was very good for the price and type of food. Drawbacks keeping the restaurant from getting five stars: Dirty wine glass that took way too long to replace. Our server was not as attentive as he should have been- we only saw him three times- to take our order, to check in once, and drop off the bill. We had to ask other servers and busboys for anything else we needed.
If you need a place to eat when you have your dog with you, this is the place. We sat on the patio and they immediately brought fresh water for my dog. They also have a doggie menu. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup with salad. It was all great, but the soup was outstanding! My skinny margarita was also delish! My doggo had the omelet with chicken jerky. That was definitely a hit! We both had leftovers.
It was a beautiful drive getting there, the weight staff was very friendly and courteous. The food was OK. Moore average not anything over the top. The cow salad was delicious with the exception of way too many whole almonds in it. I would still recommend it.
Outdoor patio was nice and food was good. We were hoping for a pretty sunset but it was raining. Outdoor heaters provided warmth on the patio.
We've always loved this restaurant. Tonight was terrible. Our food was served luke warm. Flavors were off to the point where some were inedible. Our desert must have set out for a while as it was drowning in melted ice cream. We took one bite and really thought the apple crisp was uncooked. It was obvious that we did not eat the $16 desert (we couldn't) served raw batter and ice cream and maybe whipped cream completely melted. Did our server say anything? We paid a lot of money for bad food. Although I've enjoyed many meals here, I don't know if we will ever return.
If you don't have a reservation your wait time might be up to 2 hrs

Mesa Grill used to be one of our go-to places when we wanted a different sort of atmosphere at a fair price, but that seems to have changed based on the experience we had at lunch recently. We chose the patio rather than the dining room (which is adjacent to the bar area) because usually it is less noisy. But on this occasion the waiters were talking so loudly to one another we could hear every word. The other change we noticed was in the portions of the food, which had shrunk considerably. The salad that used to fill up a platter was perhaps only half the size with smaller portions of the added ingredients like bacon and chopped egg on the wedgie salad, and even less lettuce. We like the convenience of booking through Open Table, but we might not come as often any more.
It was the best breakfast place we tried while in Sedona. Setting is nice if you like watching planes take off and land. NicolasL, our waiter was outstanding. Used my husbands name, shook our hands and thanks us for coming. Very rare these days.
Very busy when I went, got a table quickly. Food and service was excellent 👌

Service was good and it was not the server's fault but we asked specifically for no onions or pico de gallo on the Carne Asada, but it was served with both. Servers showed me that it was ordered without, but the cooks messed it up.
Everything is fresh and delicious! From burgers to surf and turf, they go above and beyond! Incredible views as well
