The food at Rene's was excellent with real in-depth sauces & flavor. The table was nicely prepared with rose petals to honor my dates birthday including a special desert. Ambiance was lush & quiet with carpeted floors and acoustic tile ceiling which are so rare these days. A couple can easily talk. Service was smooth and many staff doing their job on a Wednesday evening. Music was appropriate and definitely back round level. Prices are on the high side but the quality is very evident.. This long time Sedona fine dining restaurant has been restored to its original glory. Bravo Chef Mohr & team!

Our server, Joshua, was helpful and attentive. The sea bass was prepared and presented perfectly with four sauces. Overall, a dining experience.

Just a fabulous venue. French place the fish was delicious. The sole was great as was the Chilean Seabass. This soufflé are always good for desert. Great time!

Absolutely abysmal service. First they couldn't find our reservation. They scrambled to find a table, even though the place was toughly half empty. We watched the same 2 or 3 wait staff rushing in and out of the kitchen for about 15 minutes before someone stopped by our table. When I asked a pretty basic question- if they had gluten free pasta as a substitute, they didn't know and had to check. 5 minutes later, the answer was no. I've had more knowledgeable wait staff at Olive Garden. After 20 minutes or so, we just left. The place was roughly half empty by then, so they are clearly so low on staff they can not meet the basic needs of their customers. For a supposedly high end place, it was pathetic.

We made a reservation for our wedding anniversary based off of the reviews never having been before. And just wow I am glad we did! I had noted on the reservation that it was our anniversary and when we arrived we had a table with rose pedals and a hand written card from the staff congratulating us. From there it was an evening of absolutely incredible, perfectly prepared food and drinks. The staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and did not keep us waiting. The atmosphere was a perfect combination of lighting and noise level for a romantic evening. I could not recommend this place enough and thank them enough for a perfect evening celebrating our anniversary.

The Pate was probably the best I've ever had. Oh my god. The staff is lovely and knowledgable and the rest of the dishes we ordered were also superb. Definitely go here if you're in Sedona.

What an excellent restaurant! This is definitely a special occasion place. The food is delicious. We enjoyed the Chilean sea bass, the tuna Nicoise salad, and the garlic shrimp. The ambiance is warm and wonderful - from the outside fountain in the shopping village to the jazz playing indoors. Service is attentive. It is an expensive meal but well worth it.

We ate lunch on the lovely, dog friendly patio. Our server, Hannah, was professional, efficient, and welcoming. The Monte Cristo sandwiches were the best we've ever had, and the French Onion Soup was exquisite. Lovely environment, excellent food, and gracious service. We will return!

An incredible experience from start to finish. Our server was top notch and enhanced our experience by recommending some excellent wine choices. The French onion soup was on point and my son's Kobe hamburger accompanied with duck fat fries was the best he's ever tasted. The decor and location next to the courtyard makes you feel like you've been transported to a French villa.
