We had a wonderful dinner at SaltRock Southwest Kitchen. The street tacos were fabulous. Our waiter Ty was attentive, professional and personable. Preparation of our dinner was (barely noticeably) slow, but Ty was right on it, apologizing for what he felt was too long, A mark of a great server. I happened to notice someone who was kind of picking up the stack everywhere. I asked him if he was the.owner, He was not, he was Brendan, the manager— caring as much as an owner. Dining is more than just good food, it’s the entire experience. Ours was five star. We highly recommend salt rock.

So our dinner got off to a rough start. We had a reservation, arrived 5 minutes before, was told our table was almost ready but then we waited and waited. Maybe it wasn’t that long but as we were waiting a couple who didn’t have a reservation but stated they were staying at the hotel sat down before us. Interesting, I guess because we were not staying at the Amara hotel our reservation didn’t matter. I brought this to the host attention who then told me I could sit outside or wait 10 minutes for a table. No apologies at all.
Once we did sit down it definitely went uphill from there, prompt service by our waiter, our water glasses were never left empty, food was fabulous. Ordered the crab empanadas, corn ribs, beef short ribs and scallops and pork belly. Ate everything on the plate. Just truly every bite was delicious.
It’s a chill upscale casual vibe with a full bar and lots of tequila margarita options.

The parking is a little tricky and it's only valet so go down the road and eventually get to valet which is complimentary.
It was amazing, the coctels were sublime and the service was amazing

The best meal we had in all of Sedona! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was off the charts. Our waiter provided amazing recommendations all night including the Cactus Bird cocktail and the dessert empanadas!

Went on Valentine’s Day for a pre fixed menu $110 per person, got champagne, an appetizer and an entree. My carne asada was barely edible it was not carne asada at all, they served a fatty New York style steak which made no sense. The food is overpriced for what you get and pretty bland. I’d only come to see the view.

We just had am early Valentines dinner here tonight. We have drinks, dinner, and dessert. Everything was spectacular. Servers and wait staff were very attentive. Water glasses were never less than a few sips low. Definitely give this place a try. Also, the parking is valet every time, so no need to worry about where you're gonna park - no additional cost (tip QR code available).

We were there before sunset. Sat on patio. Beautiful view of red rocks and snoopy. Wonderful service!! Succulent food! Great evening.
If you're not a guest at the resort, they give you complimentary valet, which was great. Views of the mountains were beautiful. Waiters were nice. Only problem is that our food took so long for a salad and quesabirria tacos.
Last year we were married in Sedona and had our reception at the Amara and Salt Rock Kitchen. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and their team went above and beyond to take care of us.
For our first anniversary we returned to Sedona and celebrated with dinner at the Amara. The food was just as amazing and staff just as caring as our wedding night.
We are grateful to have found such a special spot in Arizona to build and share our memories.
Ps. Our friends and family still talk about our wedding and the food we had one year later
It’s that good 👍

We had an amazing experience at Salt Rock. Our server Lauren was fantastic, helpful and so friendly. We'd come back just to see her. The food was delicious and memorable. The cocktails were some of the best we have had and very creative! This place is on our return list for sure!

The experience was incredible from start to finish. All of the food was phenomenal and plated so beautifully! Service was smooth. We tried a few of the cocktails and zero proof mocktail's, they were all amazing! We really enjoyed the salt lamps behind the bar and salt lamp candles on the tables - thought it was a nice touch!
