Service was very slow....I mean annoying slow. Food was below average in taste and portion size with vegetables over cooked and chicken dry. Dessert was like a little Debbie brownie with a small side of vanilla ice cream. Definitely not what I thought it would be. Overall Will not go back
If you love spicy hot ribs, this is your place - Unfortunately, I do not and the waitress did not give us any heads up (nor did the menu). Did enjoy the live music!
Revamped interior since we were there years ago. Looked at menu online and liked what we saw so went. So glad we did. Wonderful food and enjoyed the ambience.
Our rating is based on this restaurant being represented as a steakhouse. They did offer steak but it was more of a casual barbecue menu. The bourbon and wine selections were limited. We waited thirty minutes after ordering before flagging our waiter, who then realized the kitchen did not have the order. We were offered a glass of wine each and dessert on the house, but it had already been a long evening.
Louanne was our server and she was fantastic! Anything we needed was brought to us promptly and she answered all our questions regarding the food and drink menu . She had several suggestions and all were great . Enjoyed the loaded potato skins, a bourbon flight and the mixed smoked meat board which included pulled pork, andouille sausage, baby back ribs and cornbread. This place is a keeper !
It was a bit disappointing. The food was ok but not anything to write home about. The service was friendly.
Great food, nice atmosphere and good service! We went early so it wasn't busy even though we did have a reservation just in case. They had a early diner's $45 menu that I took advantage of. It was 4 courses and the portions might have been a little smaller than off the regular menu (my salmon was a bit small) and they only had 2 options for each course, but it is a good deal and definitely filled me up. I started with the smoked deviled eggs and my husband had the jalapeño cornbread, both were good, but we preferred the cornbread. Then I had the cobb wedge salad. Was very good, different than any I had before (had pickled red onion and a tarragon dressing). My entree was the salmon, which was small but excellent and my husband had the ribs and he enjoyed them a lot but said the sauce was a bit spicey. For dessert I chose the smoked peach blueberry crisp which was the only thing we did not like. It was a touch too smokey tasting for both of us and didn't seem to satisfy us for what we wanted in a dessert. Happy hour is a good deal, glasses of wine were almost half off so I took advantage of that also. Overall, I would definitely recommend!
The filet mignon was perfect. We all enjoyed the onion rings, but not with bleu cheese. I don't think that was in the description on the menu. None of us like bleu cheese
Good food One of our party had the brisket, I would say that was the only dinner where the price was high and amount of food was low. Overall food was good though, we all enjoyed our meals.
Service was very slow, with limited patrons in the restaurant. The food was below par. I would not recommend.

Order was wrong and had to wait 30 minutes to get corrected meanwhile my wife was Long done eating her dinner. Food was excellent and The waiter was very pleasant - did comp the dinner we had to wait for.
Our party of 6 (3 couples) was seated promptly upon arrival for our 5:30pm reservation. I'd tried to make a 6pm reservation but both the restaurant and Open Table said it wasn't available. This seems odd in retrospect, as the restaurant was literally dead. There were two tables of two seated when we arrived and just before we left at 7:30pm a small wedding party came in. At no point was the dining room even close to busy. Nonetheless, 4 of us enjoyed the 4 course early dining option, 1 person had the loaded gun dish and one had pulled pork. All was flavorful except the slaw, which we all agreed was dry and tasteless. The beef brisket was wonderfully tender and easily the table favorite. For desert, 4 of us had the chocolate cake (rich and decadent) and 1 had the smoked cobbler (which he pronounced “sensational”). Overall, it was a lovely evening with excellent service, good food, and great company. The reservation time notwithstanding, would dine here again.
This is a nice restaurant I would like to recommend. Service timing and menu was excellent. Moreover cost performance was good.
Messed up my order made via chownow by putting in the incorrect delivery address. Guy on the phone wanted to take no responsibility and fobbed me off to chownow.0

Service and food were excellent. Nice presentation too. We started with the lamb chop lollipops that were a nice amount of meat with a tasty mint chimichurri sauce. We did sit inside as it was close to dusk when the mosquitoes start to come out. Overall very enjoyable and we will go back. We enjoyed our server, Danielle.
