Just having to be passing by this place stopped in for an iced latte. It was absolutely phenomenal. Don’t even bother reading the menu just get the cherry pistachio. It was unbelievable.

Fabulous coffee shop.

Outstanding coffee drinks and great customer service every time I stop by. Decent selection of food and beverage for being in such a rustic and isolated location! Also, the cabins are incredible to stay in and the whole property takes you back in time. Cheers!

Don Hoel’s Cabins is the best family vacation you can have with your family. It is prefect getaway for you and your family. If you want to disconnect from the social media life this is the perfect place. They have a grocery store & cafe and the early morning walks are the best. It has its own swimming hole and children friendly. The outdoor activities are nice for the kids and the campfire under the stars. I highly recommend this place for families. I want to thank every staff member for making this a great experience for our family.

My partner & I stayed July 21-23 for a couple of days out of the city. We loved the property and it was such a great location - a bunch of hiking trails are nearby as well as being 30 minutes from Flagstaff and Sedona. The staff was extremely friendly especially Trey in the café. We are definitely planning to plan another trip out.

Nice young man at front desk. Front office is in disarray.
One light didn't work in our room. Toilet is requires a few flushes.
Keurig coffee machine didn't heat up.
Nice location... loved the Creek.
Office closes at 5 pm. Tried to call office re: light but no one answered. Safety concern. How will guests be notifed if there is a need to evacuate???? Spotty WiFi.
Stayed one night. That was plenty. No return planned.

First time staying at Don Hoel’s Cabin. Absolutely great service, the rooms are very nice. I loved there wasn’t much space for electronics. The beauty of Sedona is captured well here. Will definitely come again.

Horrible cabin was very dirty spider webs all over as well as ants we booked for one night cabin #20 and ended up driving back home. Toilets didn’t flush, no tv remote, one of the rooms stunk like cigarettes

This place is quaint. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the easy private access to the creek across the street. The grassy area to walk the dog, the fire-pit with lots of seating, and the little gazebo next to the volleyball area. They make it easy to relax here all day with the option to have a mini adventure up the road. Highly recommended and will definitely come back as it is extremely affordable for sedona!

I had my wedding at Don Hoel's a few weeks ago and I am so thankful for Sean and the team for how hard he worked to make my vision come to life! They helped set up and take down and even roll out the aisle! It was a small wedding and a smaller venue, so I'd suggest if you are planning your event to keep it under 50 people for this location, but if you want a charming getaway in the forest with the people you care most about, I'd say Don Hoel's space is perfect. It was a beautiful serene venue tucked away in the trees in an open grass field, and the cabins were a perfect retreat for our little honeymoon. Most of my guests stayed the night in a cabin, and everyone loved the homey feel and slept well. They even had an accommodation for my grandfather in a wheelchair. And the cafe! Such amazing treats and drinks! I couldn't get enough chai lattes! Thank you so much Don Hoel's team for making our day so special!
All the love, Ava and Zach Marlin

I and my family enjoyed staying one night in this place, tranquility, pine trees surrounding us and high mountains behind the scene, birds chirping in the morning it's nature's melody, colorful birds we've never seen before how lovely is that.
We needed to go for this resort it was the right choice of my family.
