This restaurant was the most amazing experience and by far the best meal we have ever had! EVER!!! Chef Jeff treated us like family; his passion for exquisite dishes and presentation is palpable. The flavors of the food and the great staff made a lasting impression. The atmosphere and views were phenomenal. Every single thing we ordered was delicious! This is a MUST DO if you are in or around Sedona!! Thank you, Chef Jeff, for the amazing memories we will cherish forever!

We arrived a little early for our 8:30 reservation, but sat at the bar to have a drink. At 8:15 the hostess told us our table was ready and we sat down. Ashley was our server and she was terrific. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient throughout the meal. We both started with a bruschetta; blackened shrimp and fungi (mushroom). Both were very good, but I would have liked the bread toasted a little more for some crunch. Entrees of chicken scallopini and chicken pot pie were really great as well. Portions are generous, so be advised and order accordingly. Wine pours were generous as well. The Hudson has a great vibe with a fun, casual atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

We were seated quickly, which was a great start, but the service went downhill from there. It took quite a while to receive water and even longer for our waitress to greet us. When she did come by, she seemed rushed and disengaged throughout the meal. Our drink glasses sat empty and we were never offered a second round. When my husband was deciding between rare and medium rare for his steak, she didn't offer any guidance and instead repeated the question in a tone that felt impatient rather than helpful. Toward the end of the meal, it took a long time to get our bill, and when she finally returned, she complained to us about another customer asking her too many questions, which felt unprofessional. On the food side, portions were very large. I had the quinoa salad with chicken... it was fine, but not especially memorable. It felt similar to a dressed-up bag salad with added figs and quinoa, and didn't stand out as anything special. Overall, quick seating and generous portions were positives, but the service experience detracted from what could have been a much better dinner.

New review: second time was even better! Loved my bbq pork tacos and hubbs lived the ribs. GIGANTIC portions...

Old review:

Nick was fantastic! Excellent food, great service and beautiful views.

We had the soft pretzle for a starter, both the mustard and cheese sauce were amazing!

Mom had the prime rib slider, she said it was delicious, juicy, tender and meaty!

I had the Mushroom Burger and it was fabulous. Idk what kind of bread it came on, but EVERY burger needs this kind of bread. The fries? OUT OF THIS WORLD...so maybe this is my Sedona Alien Experience?

The hubbs had a shrimp poor boy and he said it was great. I tasted it and he is 100% correct.

Only negative is that they allowed a lady to sit next to us with a dog and my mom is allergic. Rude.

Shelby took excellent care of us at the bar. The food, drinks, and view was outstanding. I will dream about the peanut butter pie!

The food was all delicious. The service was terrible. We waited about 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. The drinks took awhile to get there. We placed our order. The appetizer never came. I asked for a refill on a drink. That took about 15 minutes. I had to get up and go get a dessert menu from the host stand myself. I probably wouldn't go back.

Lovely setting at an outdoor table on the patio overlooking the geologic formations that appear to attract visitors from all over the planet. food was very good, courteously served. will return. The dessert was beyond expectations. warm brownly with subtle flavors topped with chantilly cream.

The music was way too loud. I couldn't hear the people next to me. I had to ask three times to have it turned down, and finally spoke to the manager personally. After that it was OK. My Portobello sandwich was delicious and it was enough for two meals. One of my companions asked for her open face turkey sandwich to have just a little mayonnaise, but it was slathered in mayo and she had to scrape the mayo off. Our server, however, was outstanding.

For the price….food was ok. The meat balls were massive as an app. The swordfish was a bit dry. The tacos were very good. So over all 3.5/5 for foods.

Bar tender was nice and made great drinks. That bumps the over all to 4/5. The prices tho were very high

Our server was amazing. Our table of four had no special requests except one, no ginger siracha on the ahi tuna sandwich---for the prices----the little details matter. They did correct it upon asking, but I was sad that my food had to be eaten in two parts (I ate the side dish while I waited, and the rest of the table ate their entrees). Also, it's a little difficult to eat any sliced protein on a bun ---this was odd---why not a tuna steak - seared? It seems the tuna I had was intended for another dish and just thrown on a bun—don't order the seared tuna sandwich. My friends said their burgers were good. Pricey overall for burgers and fries and a sliced tuna sandwich....$220+ with one drink each. Maybe worth it for the views?

The Hudson is one of our favorite places to dine in Sedona. The food and cocktails are always great and we love the atmosphere. We will always dine here when in town! We dined on my birthday and the staff went above and beyond. My daughter who was not with us called ahead to the restaurant to treat me with a cocktail. As soon as I sat down at the bar to wait for our table the waitress brought me a surprise cocktail from my daughter. So fun!

We were a little too late to enjoy the sunset views here. It was a little busy but we were able to get seats at the bar pretty quickly. Our bartender was very friendly and the drinks were delicious. We got the meatball appetizer which was very generous and quite tasty. The olive tapenade crostini was very good! I had the braised pork tacos. They were just okay. My husband had the swordfish which he found a bit disappointing.

Beautiful location with great views. Make a reservation, it gets busy. Had the beet salad with chicken. It was delicious and presentation was so beautiful. Server was top notch and even helped us figure out a location to watch the sunset later that evening. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious. The ribs were especially amazing. The view was beautiful. We arrived right at opening time without a reservation and were seated immediately.
