We were turned away because it is only open to guests of the hotel. Such a poor choice as we have been coming here for years
Lovely Place for Wines & a View We were staying at The Enchantment for my wife to attend a business seminar in March, and I stopped into View 180 for wines, prior to joining her for the business dinner in The Village at The Enchantment. I was before sunset, when View 180 comes alive, but still got to take in the beautiful views of Boynton Canyon, in the late afternoon. As the weather was gorgeous, I sat on the patio, though the library-like interior space is lovely too, and with the walls of glass, the views are also dramatic. I decided on the Hanzell Sebella Vineyard Sonoma County Chardonnay ‘17, which had just been added, before my previous visit, and a welcome addition it is. Once, I felt that the B-T-G wine list at View 180 was not as good as other venues on-property, but it had been kicked up, a year, or so ago, and is not up to par with the rest of the wine lists at The Enchantment. I finished with the Valravn “Old Vine” Sonoma County Zinfandel ‘16, which was also a fairly recent addition, and I knew that these two would likely be better than the wines about to be served at the business dinner - and I was correct! My service was very good, as were the wines, and they accompanied the spectacular views very well. On our next trip, I hope to dine with my wife at the adjacent Che Ah Chi restaurant, and take in sunset in Boynton Canyon, from the spacious patio.
Highly recommend this place for a drink and bite for astounding views. Even if you are not staying at Enchantment you are welcome. Ramazan at the 180 bar was possibly one of the kindest waiters I’ve encountered anywhere!
Between the amazing view of the cliffs at sunset and the live guitarist, the atmosphere couldn't have been better. The tables had plenty of space between them so you could enjoy am intimate dinner.I ordered a Sazerac that was perfect. The restaurant had just updated their menu. The Butternut and Celery Root Bisque was so amazing as was the duck. Our server, Constance, was awesome. She knew the menu inside and out and made our dining experience the best my wife and I have ever had. We will be back.
Outstanding view. Food. And staff. Upscale but worth it.
Seriously great view and great location.
We were in Sedona for 4 days and came to view 180 the first night and we were to late to take in the sunset. So we sat on the patio loveseat with a blanket and heater to keep us warm and ordered roasted cauliflower and the slider appetizers and hung out for a while, both were unbelivable. Then we came back our last night early so we got to take in the entires sunset with unbelievable views. We ordered from the restaurants menus - nachos and the mini mexican eggrolls - the best ever nachos and drinks A++, pay a little more but well worth it , entirely. I wish i could get the recipe for the roasted head of cauliflower.
Due to the unexpected rainy weather, we found ourselves at the View a lot more than anticipated, so we became very familiar with the menu and the staff. They did a great job accommodating our vegetarian diet by making substitutions whenever possible (which surprisingly not a ton of places do). Highly recommend the chimichanga trio, queso and the bean burger. The drinks were absolutely delicious as well! All of the wait staff were very friendly and nice, but Ramazan certainly stands out for us. In addition to being a simply wonderful server with an infectiously positive demeanor, he gave us some history on the canyon -- what we were seeing from the restaurant and the significance behind it all. It was a nice added touch that made our experience that much more magical. Thank you Ramazan for your amazing service over the last few days!
Went up to watch the sunset. We enjoyed wine and and some appetizers. The food was delicious and our waitress Jennifer was so good. Gave us great recommendations and was on top of everything. Made friends with the people sitting next to us. Beautiful place to check out. Highly recommend.

Had a drink and appetizer here while listening to Native American flute player at sunset. Highly recommend this experience ... something you will not forget (check times at resort). We loved the roasted cauliflower app.
Unfortunately we saw a few reviews about their happy hour and saw a lot of references to it. No more
After a day of a jeep vortex tour, this was the perfect place to come watch the sun set. You have your choice of indoor or outdoor seating-all with a fantastic view of the mountain.
We went here specifically to sit outside and we did just that.. It was amazingly beautiful! The vistas are the most beautiful I'd seen while in Sedona. The drink menu was interesting and we both enjoyed our cocktails.. We noticed others ordering food, all of which looked incredible. There was a solo entertainer playing acoustic guitar.. It was perfect for the patio..
The view is truly spectacular. I wish you could do half ratings. I would have given it a 4.5. The reason I gave it a 4 rating is because we specifically went there to sit outside. We found a seat near the propane heater, but it was empty. They put another tank on, but for some reason it still didn't work. A young man did kindly bring us blankets, but I was still cold. I didn't end up staying very long because I was cold. The wait staff was very courteous and nice.
