Super interesting place! I bought postcards here!
absolutely gorgeous place which was built in 1947 and the present order they bought this place and it was a restaurant and they created these wonderful souvenir place over here with the long history and great collection of motorcycles.
Museum in back is very nostalgic.
We visited this Route 66 souvenir shop during our family trip, feeling happy and excited. After parking, this was the very first place we entered. Since we were traveling with young children, we used the restroom first and planned to browse and shop afterward.
However, when we came out of the restroom, the owner suddenly blocked the area with a rope and, with an annoyed expression, told us in a very unfriendly manner that the restroom was for customers only. Her tone and attitude immediately made us uncomfortable, and our positive mood disappeared. Because of this, we no longer felt like shopping and decided to leave.
Unfortunately, the situation escalated further. The owner followed us outside and confronted us, accusing us of lying and questioning us for using the restroom without making a purchase. If the store does not want tourists to use the restroom, this policy should be clearly stated in advance, such as indicating that it is strictly for paying customers only.
Because she came outside to confront us, our young children became very tense and frightened. My husband, already upset by the situation, went back into the store to address what had happened, but he was met with a very firm and unwelcoming response and was told to leave.
What should have been a pleasant ending to our family trip turned into an upsetting experience because of how we were treated.
I highly recommend stopping in and checking out this place!! All of the employees are incredible and especially the owners. They have the coolest historical vehicles and definitely worth the drive. Also kid-friendly!! Love this place.
Really neat part museum part gift shop. Really enjoyed the old motorcycle room
