My 45 min drive into Show Low, AZ, is worth the trip to enjoy the Cattlemen's Steakhouse food, ambiance, and exceptionally friendly staff. For no special occasion necessary, I will introduce my favorite Steakhouse (Cattlemen's) to family and guest when they come up from the Valley to visit me in my small rural community of Heber-Overgaard. I have never been disappointed. The Twilight Dinner Menu is definitely a great bargain, and the timing allows me to drive back home before sundown. This last visit, I noticed the new design, decor, and sitting area added in the lounge area; I prefer this area due to sports screening on all TVs. Mark was our server on Thursday, July 10th, and he was absolutely outgoing, very polite, professional, and pleasant to his character. I am a happy customer and will continue to return. I generally make reservations in advance.

Great food. Best to have a reservation. They get very busy on weekends. But worth the wait. Prime Rib was very good.

We had dinner at Cattlemen's Steakhouse in Show Low last night, and I've got to say, it was a bit of a mixed experience. The place itself is really nice and clean, and the service was top-notch. The drinks were fantastic, so no complaints there. But when it came to the food, we were a little disappointed. The portions were on the smaller side, and our steaks came out more on the medium-rare side instead of the medium-well we asked for. The sides, like the baked potato and mac and cheese, also didn't quite hit the spot. Overall, it's got a great atmosphere and friendly staff, but the food just

Went to dinner for my birthday with 5 other people. I ordered the bacon wrapped filet with mashed potatoes and a salad. The salad was very good. The $43.00 filet was tough and had no flavor. The mashed potatoes were cold with a big hunk of butter that wouldn’t melt. I complained along with 3 of the people that the food was terrible. The manager finally came over and said he would take care of it. We asked for some bread and they brought a loaf over that was not sliced but nothing to slice it with. We asked the manager for a knife to cut the bread and he told us to use our steak knives that had meat all over them to cut the bread that they don’t bring a clean knife to cut it and if we wanted a clean knife it would be $1.00 more. We complained and he finally brought us a clean knife. He finally took 10% off of our meal but automatically charged 18% gratuity. I asked for a box to take the so called filet home but i’m not sure my dog would even eat it.

We got the fried appetizer plate. The big fried mushrooms were cold, the fried zucchini was squishy and gooey. The fried green beans were good. The waitress didn't even come back to check on how are appetizers were. Definitely not worth the hype or money.

Overall nice place for dinner. Service was great, food was good (steak was a little overcooked but still good). Prices were on par with other steak houses. Will be going back.

We love Cattlemen's. It isn't fancy, but it is like a hometown supper club with the biggest, best prime rib I've ever had. It is always a treat.

Cattlemen's is a very good restaurant. My husband's rare prime rib was perfectly cooked and he was very happy. Appetizers were excellent. The deep fried green beans are wonderful. I also had the burnt ends prime rib bites and the loaded baked potato which were both very good. Service was incredible. Our server (Matthew) was just amazing. He had a great handle on everything available, he was fast, accurate and had the nicest demeanor of any wait staff I have ever seen. This is one energetic and friendly guy! The restaurant has been newly remodeled and is clean and very comfortable. Reservations worked very well for us because they were extremely busy.

Food was good. Matthew was a tentative server. He brought a spread without having to ask, and was overly polite.

We were three of us. Absolutely amazing from the moment we entered. We were greeted by Lane who seemed like she was the Owner/Manager. We were seated immediately at a very comfortable booth that we had requested. Menu and Water was brought to us immediately. Concha was absolutely amazing. She took our cocktail order which was brought to us promptly. Amazing Manhattan, Chilled Martini, yummy Margarita. We started with crisp n fresh salads. The prime rib dinners were beyond fantastic. Perfectly cooked thru out. Bacon wrapped shrimp was awesome as well. Very good wine list. Dessert was great too. All in all we had an amazing evening and will continue to support this locally owned neighborhood gem.

What a nice surprise. Very nice experience. The server was terrific, the steak was delicious and would definitely go back. Great wine by the glass especially the Marc West Pinot Noir. The shrimp and garlic butter sauce were a little small but tasty.
