When someone says hey I know a good hole in the wall place. This would be the definition. Amazing Burger amazing staff. Went for my first time on Wednesday and was back at lunch on Thursday. Best lunch on the mountain.

I had the Chili Burger with no cheese. The burger patty was decently sized and moist. The condiments were fresh and overall a great burger. The one star off was the chili was dry. I was expecting to have a sopping wet Texas chili style, but I guess they would have said Texas style. The proprietors were great and accommodating. I definitely will return to try the other burgers. Been coming to this Gem for five years. Food is ALWAYS excellent. BTW YOU SHOULD TASTE THE MEAT ON A BURGER, NOT DROWN IT WITH SEASONINGS. BEST BURGERS IN SHOWLOW OR ANY SURROUNDING TOWN. Service is great, new owners picked up where the old ones left. Perfect. Side note, yes its small, doesnt have "many ammenities" Sorry tourists, no theme park here. You dont go anywhere to eat for "many ammenities", you go for the food, PERIOD. GREAT FOOD, PRICES, AND PERSONALITIES. ALL YOU NEED. KUDOS GUYS.
The burgers are fantastic, and they let us sub the regular taco meat with chili meat instead. Threw some green chili and cheese on there, and made us insanely happy.
