We gave it one final try after two previously average experiences. Walked in and it smelled like a urinal. Decided to stay and went to the bar. Service was fine, chips and salsa good but we couldn't get away from that smell. One drink and done. We won't be back.

We had dinner at Licano's on Sunday. The service was pretty good but the food wasn't very tasty. It seems like the restaurant is going downhill. Much better food at El Charro Beer or Los Corrales.

I ordered a Quesadilla, 11.99 then a side of sour cream 3.49 and guacamole 6.99!! Yes, 6.99 for a side of guac. I absolutely can not. Will never again, just for the price of the side of sour cream and Guac alone.

This seems to be a place of basic and general food, probably produced by Shamrock, Sysco, or U.S foods. If it’s preference for basic and general tasting Mexican food then this can be a spot, no real flavor but something to put in your stomach.

My fiancé and I were traveling a lot during the holidays and we booked a room late next door to this place. We drove up and my fiancé inquired about closing time and we just arrived at closing. We inquired about food elsewhere but the staff was more than happy to get us in to take our order. We understand how inconvenient this is when customers show up at closing. We both got the 2 taco plates and it was fresh, hot and delicious! We will eat here again. Thank you to the staff for such friendly, welcoming, and generous customer service! 🙏🏼

To the point . Mexican food there is horrible. No fresh made salsa to put on the tacos. They brought Tabasco sauce for their salsa. Presentation was horrible.Didnt know the difference between mexican style or American style. So that also got messed up. My buddy ordered a club sandwich said the bread was old . If you advertise mexican take a little pride .

I’ve eaten at Licano’s twice in 2025. I recommend a better experience at El’ Charros or Los Corrales. Licano’s food is straight up gross. I ordered the #68. The enchilada, taco, and tamale were tasteless. You need to add salt to everything and the salsa is watered down. Do not recommend.

I had a bug in my tostado. I about threw up because it was in my mouth before I realized it. I mistook it for a black olive as olives were on the tostado. A black beetle.

My family and I love enjoying lunch at this restaurant when we visit twice a year fir about 4 days each time from our Phoenix home. The whole staff here is very friendly. Especially when we had lunch there around noon on Monday October 27th. Our food was delicious as always and our Server Megan was very kind,attentive and sweet, please commend her in front of her fellow employees! Thank you very much, Leo and family from Phoenix!!!
