My family and I love enjoying lunch at this restaurant when we visit twice a year fir about 4 days each time from our Phoenix home. The whole staff here is very friendly. Especially when we had lunch there around noon on Monday October 27th. Our food was delicious as always and our Server Megan was very kind,attentive and sweet, please commend her in front of her fellow employees! Thank you very much, Leo and family from Phoenix!!!

Been here several times on a ride up from Phoenix. Service was ok. We had to wait over 35 min to get our food after ordering. Before leaving, stopped in the ladies room. Trash on the floor, stall door difficult to lock, stall trash container overflowing. Not my best experience there. Not sure if I will visit again. Except for the food, the whole experience not good.

I've never been here so , I decided to have a chicken tostada, (which actually came out soggy ), with a side of beans and rice. And I def should've asked how much a side of guacamole was , cuz that was more than my tostada! . After the bartender gave us our food she got busy, and we didn't see her for awhile , so instead of going hungry , I tried my friends carne asada burrito, and I thought carne asada was skirt or flank steak , but this kinda tasted like Dinty Moore beef stew meat. My friend had been here a few times, and couldn't remember why he hadn't been there more often and i think we know why now .... I was so bummed cuz it seemed so authentic looking!! But we probably will not be back :(

First time in since moving to area. Honestly, it was not good. Got two taco combo with a ground beef taco, shredded chicken taco, rice and beans. Nothing had any flavor. Everything was beyond bland. Rice was flavorless as well. Tried the carne asada, completely wrong cut of meat. It was large pieces of stew meat. Really disappointing for the price point. Won’t be back.

Went there with a group of 7, 5 adults and two children for dinner last night. Paid our bill with a 20% gratuity. Realized after we got home they had added 18% gratuity already to the bill. So we gave them a 38% tip. It may have said it somewhere on a menu that a gratuity will be automatically added with six or more people. And yet I think it would be courteous to mention to their patrons that a gratuity has already been added. Not too much to ask if you want repeat customers. Not worth calling back and complaining. I’m sure the server can use the extra tip. Just not great practice and something she would have no doubt noticed when she collected the bill and by the way when she brought the check and a pen to the table in the first place.

The decor was nice but older. Chairs weren’t very comfortable. First time eating a Southwest style Mexican food. The tortilla chips were good. The salsa has flavor but not much heat. Not sure how to describe it other than watery. Tortilla with my taco was home made. The shredded chicken was the best part. Good flavor.

Amazing staff!! Super nice, the food was incredible me and my girlfriend got a steak and it was so tender super flavorful and was cooked to perfection.
Do not recommend After seeing all the cars in the parking lot, we had high hopes for a nice dinner. My boyfriend and I ate dinner there on 8/23/25, what a complete disappointment. He ordered the chili rellano plate. The chili rellano was a lot of sauce, barely a chili to be found and literally no flavor. The refried beans were tasteless and maybe and I mean, maybe 2 tablespoons of rice. I had the fish tacos with cabbage which was less than a sprinkle per taco and very watery sauce. Again, very little rice and beans, which were both very tasteless. The only good thing at the dinner was the glass of sangria I ordered. I do not recommend.

It's always a wonderful time at Licanos. On this day I was in with a very large group for lunch and were seated in record time. Our servers were very nice and completed our requests with a smile. Thank you, Licanos. Service was amazing, and the food was too.
