We found this jewel by accident at the tail end of a long, tiring trip. We live in a nearby town (45 miles), and when we got back we found a new Los Corrales had opened at home!!! Having lived in South Texas for 20 years and northern New Mexico for 15 years, this was like a trip back in time. EVERYTHING was perfect...the atmosphere was exotic and fun, the entire staff was first class with service. Our waiter Alfonso, was the best! But the menu...it defies description. Every dish...
THE BEST food service and prices! We went twice because it was so good. Everyone we had contact with were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was truly the best Mexican food we have ever had...and we have tried many. The decor was outstanding! The chairs, tables and booths are all carved and brightly painted...just gorgeous.
We arrived at the restaurant in late afternoon and got seated promptly. We were a party of four . Service was slow even though there were few patrons in the restaurant. Once our orders were taken, it wasn’t a long wait. All the dishes that were ordered were packed with flavor, with nice sized portions. I loved the atmosphere, filled with color and Mexican artifacts. By the time we left, the restaurant had filled up. Very popular place
