I worked a 12-hour day and went in here excited to get a steak, but they were serving a birthday party which took priority, and myself, and several other customers sat for an hour without any food until I finally decided to leave. I ate here a couple times before and the food and service were pretty good, but tonight it was as if the restaurant was open only for the birthday party and everyone else was just sitting around waiting including the waitresses. I can definitely understand being backed up because of a multi-table birthday party, but I don't think it's very good business to just let everyone else sit and wait with no food the birthday party is catered to like royalty. My company is here working for a few months and I thought I had found a decent regular spot for dinner, but I don't think I'll be returning after waiting so long and not even being fed.

Had breakfast here and out was great! I had pancakes, eggs, and sausage. A friend of mine had the eggs,hash browns, and toast. Everything tasted great, the hash browns were a little overcooked and crunchy though. Service was excellent and everyone was friendly. The music was a little strange and slightly loud. Will definitely be returning again.

I had the chicken and waffles at Show Café, and it was fantastic. The chicken was cooked perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and the waffles had a wonderful crisp with great flavor. Everything was delicious, and I’ll definitely be coming back again.

I love Showlow cafe I love eating the supreme pizza it’s so good and the cashew chicken lettuce wraps and fish fry Friday is fire Samantha is my favorite server I love going there it feels like home .

OK now, where to start...
I always have liked the Show Low Cafe and I was very disappointed when it closed down, but it was just for remodeling so that was OK... until I found out it changed owners, then I was heartbroken.
Well, this afternoon, I asked my wife if I could take her dinner and she suggested we try Show Low Cafe, and I'm danged sure glad she did!
I've always liked their chicken fried steak or country fried steak or whatever they call it, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I just about choked when I saw the price, but decided to try it anyway. There's an old saying, "You get what you pay for..."
I'm here to tell you, that saying has never been more true! That chicken fried steak was about 3 times the size I expected. I've had chicken fried steaks all over this country and I'll have to say, I'd put this one up against any of them. It was some kind of fine! And I'll tell you this, you'd better danged well be hungry if you decide to tackle one!
I believe my wife had something called Homemade Meat Loaf, or something like that. I'm telling you, it wasn't just your typical little chunk of meatloaf! It pretty well covered half her plate and she LOVED it! Needless to say, we were stuffed when we left.
The service was as good or better than any place I've ever been. I believe Cody was our waitress but nary a one of any of the 3 or 4 girls hustling around there walked by our table without checking on us.
We have found a new home. 🥰
Now, here's my suggestion. The 82% approval rating mostly comes from older reviews before the remodel. The old ones should be deleted! I'd like to ask y'all to help them bring that up a few notches. They danged sure deserve it!

Think this is a fairly new cafe opened in Show Low that was recommended by desk clerk at hotel. Just across road from hotel but means having to walk to traffic lights to cross road and the same back again. Our meals came with a visit to soup station and salad bar. Also came with 2 dinner rolls and butter. Far too much food for me and so wasteful on the big servings of butter and sour cream as could not eat it so got thrown away presumably, so wasteful. An interesting buffet concept but it was an extremely heavy meal.
