Food was delicious and came out quickly. Had to try prime rib Wednesday. The bolognese as also on point.
The apps were excellent. The Octopus and pickled veggies were a great start. Our group had pasta and steaks. All top notch. The wine selection was adequate and reasonably priced. The manager Waddel came out and checked in everything.
Finding Torreon Grill is difficult. Signage directing you within the resort is poor. But once you get there it is upscale and inviting. Service was prompt and efficient. Food not very good. Steak sandwich was a hot mess on a soggy roll; the steak was not sliced thin enough to have any hope holding the sandwich and taking bites. On the positive side the steak itself, once removed and cut with a steak knife was delicious. Shrimp scampi was a bowl of stroganoff noodles with a watery garlic liquid and skewers of so so shrimp with no flavor. Not shrimp scampi but shrimp swampy.
Our dinner and service is always excellent a the Torreon Grill. Our server, Alexis, was outstanding. The staff that Scott has put together is just Amazing!
Service was great. Food that we had was ok but many items not available on the menu. This has happened before. Disappointing when you take guests.
The management can do better with training and overseeing the staff. Poor and/or SLOW service starts with the manager. Do better!
Went for Prime Rib Wednesday, and it was perfect. Attentive service from Natalie, food was delivered quickly and was high quality. Was it cheap? No, but the value is there for the quality you get.
Great dining experience at the Torreon Grille last week. Scott Waddle, F&B manager, has turned this restaurant into a wonderful dining experience. The pasta dishes were excellent, service warm and friendly. Thank you to Scott and his team.

Food was just ok. The Shrimp, crab, baby Scallop dish had no crab, few scallops and WAY too much butter with little flavor. The chicken special was just ok, not super flavorful. The only time the server came by was to drop something off.
Torrent Grille was one of the best food finds this year! The food was very good and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, helpful, and punctual. Best of all was dining outdoors amongst the wonderful smelling large pines. Our group of four all enjoyed this lunch dining experience!

Nice place. Good selection of food and ours were both very good. We had our dog with us, and it was later in the evening. They happily let us sit near the front with our pup. Friendly, accommodating, good service.

We have been dining at Torreon Grill for several years. I feel that the quality of the service, food selection, wine selection and little add on's has gone down hill. They used to give bread and potato chips and now they don't. They used to serve you on burger night now it's self serve..... We pay a lot to be members here and to get a 5 star rating you need to go the extra mile. Not happening with Torreon
Visiting Show Low, AZ for a 4 day holiday weekend. Staying in the Torreon development and chose to enjoy dinner at Torreon Grille for our family of 7. Saw signs at each neighborhood entrance and 4 adults reviewed this place in advance while making a mutual decision to give it a try. While driving there, good luck finding signage to locate it. Being able adults, we thought maybe it would be near the golf course and clubhouse and fortunately we figured it out without any apparent signs. I went in ahead of our group to verify we were in the right place, and also to be sure they could seat us without a reservation. It was 4 p.m. and hours posted were from 11 to 9. I was told yes, so the rest of the group parked and came in. Now, we were advised that they couldn’t begin serving food for another hour. Have you ever waited that length of time with 3 HUNGRY kids under 7? Yeah, you get the idea. And oh yeah, now they’re only providing a prime rib BUFFET, and only $55 per person (except the littlest children). Hmmmm…..ALL of that would have been good to know IN ADVANCE. I guess they might have forgotten to post anything online, or on signage, or provide verbally when I first approached and asked. Needless to say, we spent our money elsewhere. Beware.
