Everything taste like itsn from a can. Chips are never fresh or hot. Fish is soggy, tacos are soggy and fall apart. Everything taste like it's been microwaved. The people are nice and friendly but the food is poor quality. Not sure how anyone can like the food. This place needs remodeling, plus every table is wobbly.

We really like El Rancho here in Snowflake. The green chili cheese crisp has been a family favorite since I was a kid and my wife and I try to stop in at least once a month to share one together. The Hot sauce and chips are unlike most Mexican restaurants but in a good way! The recipes haven't changed in nearly 50 years and we believe that's what has made El Rancho a success. That being said, I wish I could give a 5-star rating, but I can't because the entire restaurant needs an uplift. 50 years of the same might be good for a recipe but not for a building! El Rancho is time for a makeover. Get a real front entry with a door we can bring our wheelchair bound friends in with us! Tables, chairs & booths need real help! I know, "If it ain't broke..." but it'll pay off if you reinvest in your restaurant!

I happened to be driving through Snowflake, AZ and chose to stop at El Rancho Restaurant. The service was quick and the mexi lunch was very good. The green chili and beans were very good - the whole meal was great.

We try to go here at least once a week, and we are locals, love this place for breakfast and drinks. Food is great, drinks are great and service is wonderful, they are open first thing in the morning in the snowflake Arizona, can't be beat for breakfast

Well I’m very disappointed. We go here when we have the chance the food is always good. After today I don’t think we will return. We walked in just after 8pm and we see on the board “ ground beef tacos 1.25” we are like ok we will get tacos. My husband decides to get 10 ground beef tacos and we order and appetizer and food for the kids. Food comes and is good like usual. Then the bill comes! Almost 30 dollars for 10 tacos. I thought I was going to throw up at how expensive our bill was especially when you are expecting $1.25 tacos. I go to the front and they say that it said 11-2 ( since we got their they had erased the board completely)but it didn’t say that. Either way, it’s after 8 pm and that is still on the board as the special and no where to be found is the dinner special. I kept mentioning that we saw it there that is why we got so many or we never would have and yet it didn’t matter. I really expected them to make it right by honoring what was on the board or something. The girl even kept saying how she thought someone else changed the sign etc but it wasn’t done even after 8 pm.Anyways it was very poor on their part and I wasn’t able to leave my waitress a tip which what made it worse. Anyways, I’m very disappointed. I’ll be going else where

This place is the worst restaurant I've ever been to lol I don't even leave reviews but I had to. I ordered cheese enchiladas and the food tasted weird and like it was all from a can.. so very disappointed in this experience. Tables are broken, waitress was too busy flirting with the bar guy to do her job.. Will not be coming back.

Food was good with pleasant waitresses and environment. Nice place for just relaxing and enjoyment of a Mexican environment.
Went to restaurant for first time. Thought we would eat local. Only 2 other families there. Young teenager brought drinks. Didn't bring chips or salsa. Had to ask. Place order within 10 minutes. Remember only 2 other families there already ordered waiting for their food. We ordered, waited. 15 minutes later a small group came in. They ordered. We are still waiting for our food. This new group is served. We waited. 45 minutes later I ask where is our food. Waitress had no reason for delay. No apologies, nothing. We got up and left. Horrible customer service. Doubt we will go back. Place was run down and tables and booths torn and in bad shape. If this is a reflection of the rest of the restaurant, we are probably lucky we didn't get our food. Don't waste you time here. Better restaurants in the area.

The ONLY place in town where you can get FOOD & ALCOHOL.VERY Cool Mexican place actually open till 9 pm on a Sunday unlike most places in Snowflake. The bar area is small and cozy with Kenan as an great bartender, a pool table, amazing chips & salsa and cheese crisp & the Malibu party?.Love this place! We TRY IT!!
