Food was bland compared to similar restaurants. We did takeout so maybe they rushed prep. Prices were okay but felt amount of food given was less then other type places.

If I could give this horrible restaurant ZERO stars, I would!
This Chinese food restaurant “NAN JING” in SCW is dirty from floors, booths/chairs & silverware/plates. You can smell the dirty water they use for cleaning, when they actually do clean, if asked!?
The food is poor quality, unsanitary and tasteless. PLUS not to mention their VERY rude and unprofessional service with dine in and pick-up! They talk crap & yell about everyone that walks through that door in their own language! SMH! Why is this place still in business & why is OSHSA not condemned them yet, especially when catering to the high risk elderly population!?

A friend recommended the place so we stopped to get 3 meals to go at lunch time. Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken. And beef and broccoli. Egg flower soup and Side of Crab puffs. We got to my friends 5 minutes away and began to eat. It was awful. Tasted like everything except crab puffs were cooked in rancid oil. The crab puffs were the only thing edible. We took the food back . The older woman was very rude arguing with me that I was wrong. After her making a huge scene she finally refunded me minus crab puffs which was fine. Then told me to never go back. LMFAO! I would never go back to that place not even if i were paid.

I ordered egg foo yong with pork all I got was a half a tablespoon of pork for the money to pay it’s not worth it then I ordered orange chicken the chicken was more brighter than chicken I was very unhappy while I go back there again no and they’re not friendly people

Didn’t have a good experience with staff, all were rude, food was very bland and decided not to tip, and the lady followed us to our car to ask why we put a $0 tip. Will not be eating here again. I’d stay away if you have little to no patience.

Disappointed Despite the Good Food...
I recently dined in at Nan Jing and while the food itself was great—the fried shrimp, hot and sour soup, and pork lo mein were all delicious—I left feeling really disappointed with how things ended.

The service started off well, and the place was very clean, which I appreciated. However, the vibe shifted when one of the staff members demanded a tip while I was still sitting at the table, finishing my water after the meal. I was already planning to leave a tip before heading out, but the way it was approached felt pushy and greedy. At first I thought it was a joke, but it quickly became clear that it wasn’t.

That kind of behavior left a bad taste in my mouth, and unfortunately, it overshadowed what could’ve been a solid experience. I won’t be returning because of it.

We've never been to a restaurant where the waitress was so rude!!! She barked at my friend when she didn't order immediately. Other customers mentioned that they experienced the same attitude. Food was mediocre at best. I can see why they only have 3.9 stars! Will not be back and will not recommend to our friends.

Service is horrible. The old waitress working there is rude, takes forever to get drinks and take your order. Then after her terrible service she has the nerve to demand a large tip? She's lucky she got anything. Don't come here, the food is decent but it's not worth dealing with that rude woman.

Have been to the establishment many times and is consistently going down hill. Last night was the last straw. Was seated, waited 20 minutes to have someone take our order. When the food came it was warm, not hot. Came in sections not at the same time. Waitress was rude. Not enough help, tables dirty. Won't be back.

I was apprehensive coming to this restaurant after seeing the previous reviews but chose to try it out in my lunch break any way due to it being close to work . I should have listened to the others !!!

If I could go lower I would ! I told the waitress our food was cold and not good she proceeded to argue about how it’s fresh. I showed her how the meat was browning and touched the meat to show that it’s not even loop warm . The waitress then snatched the plate off the table and told me I will have to pay for the ribs no matter what ! She then went yell through the restaurant for the next 5 minutes.

Egg rolls were cold on the inside loop warm on the outside
Crab Puff were the best item on the table
Pot Stickers were the only warm item we received!

Save your money and avoid this place !

Our family has been eating at this restaurant for over 25 years, enjoy the food and keep going back. Today, our entire family experienced the horror of awful service from a loud and obnoxious employee. A family member just had knee surgery and was moving to be seated at a booth. After being seated, we moved their walker to clear a space for a walkway. This employee yelled at the entire family, had a tantrum, threw the walker against a table/chairs and was rude for the entire meal. If this is the way this employee is going to behave to an injured or disabled person with a walker, I would expect they will be horrible to everyone else as we’ve seen for years. When it was time to pay and sign the receipt, she did not receive a tip, after the awful behavior and service, and then she verbalized to the whole restaurant her disdain that she did not receive a tip. Our longtime server is excellent but this employee showed her monstrous inability to relate to customers in this senior community.
