Went during breakfast time but ended waiting on lunch. Pancit adobo and lumpia are all amazing. Had a home cook feel to it. Staff are amazing, polite and always checked to make sure I didn’t need anything. The $10 minimum is a technicality cause if you sit down and order you will spend $10 and it will be well worth it. I was in town on a work assignment but will go back on my own time in the future.

Nestled in a cozy medical plaza in Sun City, this charming little restaurant is a hidden gem. It's run by Rick, a retired U.S. serviceman, and his warm, welcoming Filipina wife. I was greeted by Rick himself, and the vibe is casual, with counter service that feels like you're stepping into someone's home kitchen. The menu is a delightful mix of Filipino dishes, with a few Western options thrown in. I opted for the pork lumpia and spring rolls, and they arrived piping hot, fresh, and absolutely mouthwatering. Each bite was a burst of flavor, so comforting and authentic – like a home-cooked meal from a place full of love. If you're in the area, don't miss it – I highly recommend this little slice of culinary heaven

If you want authentic filipino food then you are in the right place. Judy makes healthy , fresh and delicious food - it's the only place in AZ that I would go if you are craving for filipino food.

Went into see the doctor office and could smell the food in the parking lot. Filipino food / breakfast menu. Ordered the lunch special.
Special was Fried rice, noodles and 2 lumpia. 13 dollars very good just wish it could be a bit crisper. But to much chicken on the rice and noodles. But very good and great price. I also ordered the burger. Mom said it tastes like the old fashioned burger. So very pleased and will be back!!!

Ordered a vanilla ice cream in a waffle bowl. And a caramel churro also in a waffle bowl. Melted on the way home. So will find out once it's frozen again!!!
3.75 each

Guy playing the guitar was a bit loud and didn't care for that..

I went to this restaurant by recommendation of a friend. I ordered the ham and cheese crêpe. I found them to be rather small, but delicious. It came with cottage cheese, which I thought was unusual. They did not have cranberry juice which is my go to for breakfast.

Omg the food is the best. Aside from my co-workers (he is Filipino) cooking this place has the best food. I will be coming back and I live in Glendale lol

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at JJ’s Bistro in Sun City, and I have to say, this place is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Filipino cuisine. From the moment I walked in, I was met with warm hospitality and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the pork adobo, pancit, and a side of lumpia, and every bite transported me straight to the heart of the Philippines. The pork adobo was rich, tender, and perfectly seasoned — that tangy, savory balance was spot on. The pancit was fresh, flavorful, and packed with delicious vegetables and meat, and the lumpia? Crispy perfection! You can tell everything is made with love and tradition.

If you’re looking for a spot that serves authentic, home-cooked Filipino food with unforgettable flavor, look no further than JJ’s Bistro. This is the kind of place that keeps you coming back for more. Can’t wait to return and try the rest of the menu! Highly recommend.
