The lumpia is just amazing. They are small but PACKED with flavor. The spam rice was also amazing. I wish it was opened weekends. This place is the highlight of my Dr visit every few months. I would have never found this place otherwise. 10/10 will be ba

Cool little place with very good food but the guy who works the counter and is an owner I believe...is a gastopo. Seems to hate you for coming in.Almost have to sign an agreement when eating there, alot of rules and regulations. Some understandable....most are ridiculous. He ll bankrupt them...too bad, good grub.

Not food related, never had an opportunity to sit. First time to this building and early for a doctor's appointment so we asked about being sat. We thought we'd spend about 20-30 minutes with a drink and a snack (not a meal). The man behind the counter said "are you going to order?" We said yes. He said "you order here." I asked for a menu and he condescendingly pointed to a small table at the entrance and proclaimed "you walked right past it". I turned to get the menu, already annoyed with his attitude and decided not to order and that we would just purchase a drink at the counter and go. He assumed we meant sit with a drink (which wasn't the case, we wanted to buy a drink and leave). He then points to a $10 minimum sign and says "we get very busy here and require $10." At that point his demeanor had me upset so we refused to buy anything and left.Customer service goes a long way with me. I didn't mind not being sat (I understand the reasons), I do mind being spoken to like I'm ignorant or a bother. Do better JJ's.

He tells people on the phone "we have to cook the food".... That doesn't make sense either because we hope you cook the food. Typos happen...sorry not as perfect as you are.

Stopped in after getting blood work done, ordered the #2 Special... it was very tasty! Had the banana dessert(but it's not banana? )... I've been trying to eat there for some time. Glad I was able to stop in this time!

We ordered the #1, Pansit, Lumpia and Fried Rice. The food was good but a tad bit pricey for the amount of food you get. Someone on a previous post complained about not enough meat and veggies in the pansit, this was not the case today. They had lots of both meat and veggies. Plus the food was hot when served. We were the only people there and the owners were great hosts and made sure we were taken care of.

We received awful service today....looks like it's a mom and pop restaurant...the guy running the counter and taking the food orders is very rude....unbelievably rude....we wanted to try this place since we like Filipino food .....there are much better Filipino restaurants in the Phoenix area... Nanays in Chandler is far better than this place. Don't come here to this restaurant it's not worth it!

Tried it today since I'm only on this side of town for the day. The food is okay. If you want really good Filipino food, try Nanay's or At my place at the east valley. The service was terrible. I ordered my food to go, I waited for a bit. Then 10 minutes later, I still didn't get my food. The kitchen lady comes out to the front area and sees the paper with the order. She didn't even know about the order until 10 minutes after I ordered it. Then, while I was sitting at the front, I saw that food started coming for people who ordered dine-in after I placed my order. Then I had to wait another 15 minutes. I was so fed up with waiting that I got up to ask for a refund and just when I was about to, the food was finally ready. I took my food and ate it. It was mediocre. Definitely not worth waiting 20 minutes for. TLDR: you want good food with good service, go somewhere else. Also overpriced.

The food was great! My husband is Filipino and we have been craving a taste of home. Finally had the time to try the food here and we will be regulars for sure! Joy and her husband are so nice. The food is delicious and authentic!! They even have "western food" for those who aren't so adventurous. The service was friendly. I'm so happy we went here.

We've been looking for some great lumpia and we've found it! The rolls are made to order, stuffed with a delicious filling and the wrapper was super crunchy and served with wonderful dipping sauce. This establishment is run by the most charming family who knows their regular customer's favorites. You won't be disappointed!

If you’re looking for authentic Filipino food, look no further! This family owned quaint restaurant is everything that my family and I have been looking for.To start, the service is unmatched. You feel like you’re right at home! The owners are welcoming and interactive with their patrons.Next, Judy’s cooking is out of this world. From the crunchy and flavorful lumpia, to the delicious Pancit and juicy adobo, the flavors are to die for.We had been looking to taste authentic “kare-kare” that’s not on the menu. We asked Judy if she could make some for us and in two weeks, she did! The oxtail in peanut butter sauce was exactly what our palate wanted. The fact that she went way out of her way to make this for us was very special. They truly care about their customer satisfaction! We’ve also tried their halo-halo and that is equally exquisite.Come by and try the best homemade Filipino food you can possibly have in Phoenix!

Filipino food, deliciously prepared and served by owners makes for a great change in a chain restaurant world. Add in sparkling cleanliness, some cute country decor, and a pleasant view if you get a window seat, and you're set for a relaxing meal. Everything was tasty in my combination platter #1 of Pansit (stir fried ultra fine cellophane noodles with cabbage, carrots, celery, onions, garlic, chicken, soy sauce); Fried rice (chicken thigh meat sautéed in garlic and onions with eggs, peas, carrots, soy sauce); Lumpia (deep fried spring rolls with pork, carrots, cabbage, onions, garlic, celery). Lost a star due to not accepting credit cards without a surcharge, and for the tiny proportion of the veggies to the carbs. Noodles and rice and dough covered veggies is a just too much starch and not enough veggies and meat, esp. for $11.99-- (rice and noodles are very inexpensive items esp. when bought wholesale) I hope they do well since it's pleasant food, but no way can I be a regular for that price, plus tip, plus losing my credit card's cash back bonus.

I happened to be walking by after my appointment and saw the items on the menu board outside. Ordered a number 1 combo and oh my goodness so good. Definitely going back again! Great price, delicious food and great customer service.
