This was the third time I’ve eaten at Angry Crab and it has gotten better each time. I visit Surprise 3-4 times a year and always try to make it to Angry Crab for the delicious crab and shrimp. Abby has been our server all three times and as fantastic as the food is, she’s just as great. I’ll be coming back every time I visit and the nice manager even came to the table and asked us how we were doing. Please keep up the great tasting food and service, I look forward to the next visit….

We were disappointed in our recent visit. We go to this specific location at least once a year for my boyfriend's birthday. Angry crab, please do better. Its clear that you are understaffed. It took two hours for us to have dinner, half of it wasn't even waiting on food it was waiting on drinks. Our waitress was very kind but it was clear that there should've been more staff to help out. We got a free dessert for my boyfriend's meal which is kind. We would've rather done without, considering we all had to take a stretch break while we were waiting on it to make it to the table. And another while we waited for the bill. Another note, you're a seafood restaurant. That serves seafood boil bags. Why don't you have enough crab crackers for at least one per each table? Anyways, overall experience, in my opinion if we're going to spend that kind of money on seafood, we can find better service elsewhere. We had a party of 6 stuffed in one booth with a reservation.

This was my first time at Angry Crab and I decided to try this location I’m happy I did! We got served by Brooke who brought our food out fast and hot. I recommend trying the shrimp Po’Boy with Cajun fries! The manager Charlie was every attentive !

I will absolutely never eat here again. I gave Crab Shack another chance after a terrible experience six months ago, and somehow it was even worse. The seafood boil portions are a complete joke — overpriced and so small that I’m still hungry. That’s unacceptable for what they charge.
The shrimp tasted low quality and poorly seasoned. It did not taste fresh, and the flavor was bland and disappointing. On top of that, there was barely any sauce in the bag — it was nearly dry. For a seafood boil place, that’s ridiculous.
The lobster was just as sickening.
Save your money. Pier 88 is significantly better in both quality and price. I’d rather drive an extra 10 miles than waste another dollar here.

The best! Angry crab has so many different flavor profiles you can make, I never knew. Me and my husband love their wings, the best quality and best flavor! And pro tip, if you’re a newbie, ask to get some of the diff sauces on the side so you can mix and match to try diff things. They have a great happy hour and do boil bag specials pretty regularly. Also, make a mean cocktail! We love crab shack, this flavors keep us coming back 🦀
