This was our first time in. We were sat quickly, the hostess was very friendly and we had Drake as our server. We felt very welcome right from the start. The menu was very overwhelming but Drake helped navigate and patiently answered all our questions even though he seemed busy with other tables. In the end he helped us build a “boil bag” which exceeded our expectations. What a unique restaurant, it was very fun to get to eat with our hands right there on the table. We will definitely be back again to try the rest of the menu and we will be asking for Drake again. This was the best service we have had in Surprise, I hope management here knows what a gem they have. This was also the best seafood we have had in Arizona.

Have been here before and today was the worst the fried cod and french fries were cold and dripping in oil? when ordering asked for extra tartar sauce and got one tarter sauce and cup of ranch dressing which I did not ask for and crackers for the clam chowder was old and stale. The "food prepped" was definitely off his game. Would have been better off going to McDonald's to get the filet of fish meal instead of the cold and oily fish and chips at the Angry Crab Shack.

Food did not have a lot of flavor, ordered the seafood boil (trifecta). With a side of garlic noodles that had no flavor at all just covered in minced garlic. My husband ordered the surf and turf the steak was still bloody despite ordering well done, the lobster came with a side of butter but had no flavor otherwise and he said it taste old. The battered shrimp was good and the Pepsi was good. It took 20 mins before we had to flag someone down to take our drink orders. Won’t be visiting again.

My dinner was unacceptable. I ordered the 2 lb lobster...no flavorIt tasted old. Our waitress informed me that an over 2 LD lobster is not sweet! So I guess serving bad food is their practice. When I said the meal tasted funny I was told that's the lobster fault. I was stilled charged $70 when basically all the meal was left on my plate. Will never go back...if I could I would give it 0 stars for food and service.

They called this a piece of catfish on my sandwich. I told them I'm unhappy and they made excuses then said it will be half off when I did not touch it. Ate a few fries, went home hungry and upset. Never this location again.

First time coming to this location & I must say it’s bigger than the other locations I’m use to going. The atmosphere was lovely. I had Leeah as our waitress. She was amazing and so helpful!! Good Job! The food was absolutely spectacular and came fast unexpectedly! I will definitely be back!

Delicious as usual! Service great! No complaints here ?UPDATE: 2/9/24 I was just kicked out of Angry Crab unexpectedly due to them stating people were waiting. I wassitting there and the lady comes up to our table stating that she was cleaning up our table because they had a lot of people waiting. We look around and there was no one. UNACCEPTABLE! She was rude and I’ll be enjoying another Angry Crab location next time.

upon arrival we were waited about 3min to get a table, even though it wasn't busy. The bartender had to sit us down. No waitress came to our table for about 15min till the manager came and took down our drinks. we got a order of season fries for our troubles.
