Twice I've ordered from here and waited way to long. The last mobile order I made I waited 24 mins even after I asked. Asked a second time and they said sorry we're making it now. Should not wait 25 mins for coffee. Won't be back

I usually enjoy visiting Black Rock Coffee, but I had an unpleasant experience at the Sarival & Waddell location around 4:20 PM on Saturday November 8th, 2025. After politely asking for my drink to be corrected, one of the baristas muttered something under his breath that sounded like “douchebag.” I was taken aback because I made my request respectfully and didn’t expect that kind of response from staff. Mistakes happen, and I understand that, but professionalism and kindness go a long way in customer service. I hope management can address this so that future interactions reflect the friendly and respectful atmosphere Black Rock is known for.

Stores always pretty busy, it's also one of the larger ones in the state I believe, the servers are always friendly and they get the coffee out pretty fast. If your gonna come in and chill this is probably one of the best locations to do so in the valley.

Coffee was good the only issue I have is that I asked in drive thru for caramel drizzle in cup and they told me all Caramel macchiato come with caramel drizzle and they handed me this.

Start reading the order correctly. I’ve been in 3 times this week and every time my order was wrong.
First time I ordered an iced mocha with almond milk and was given an iced almond milk latte with no mocha.
Second time an extra large iced butterscotch. I was given a large blended vanilla.
Third time I ordered an extra large iced pumpkin and was given an extra large blended vanilla with huge chunks of ice that weren’t blended correctly. No pumpkin.
I tip well, and I didn’t say anything on any of these visits. Just took what I was given and drove away.
Including tip I’ve spent about $40 this week here and wasn’t given what I paid for AT ALL.
Read your tickets correctly and stop being more focused on gossip than your guests orders.
I won’t be back for awhile. You completely missed the mark.

Terrible experience. I went for the first time tonight and they did not even say hello when I drove to the window. They didn’t know the order I had just placed. They messed it up and had to remake it without even apologizing. The girl and the guy that were on shift tonight seemed annoyed. Will not be coming back.

Black Rock Coffee Has Lost Its Way

I used to love Black Rock Coffee for its bold brews, friendly vibe, and reasonable prices. But lately, it feels like the company has lost touch with what made it special. Prices have skyrocketed across the menu — we're talking $6–$8 for a basic drink, and even more for customizations that used to be free or low-cost. What was once an affordable daily stop now feels like a luxury splurge.

Worse, the quality and portions haven’t improved to justify the price hikes. In fact, the drinks often seem watered down, and staff appear rushed — a clear sign of a business prioritizing volume and profit over consistency and service.

Black Rock seems more focused on rapid expansion and profit margins than on customer loyalty or value. It’s disappointing to see a company that built its brand on community and accessibility slowly turn into another money-hungry chain. Unless things change, they risk pushing away the loyal base that helped build them up in the first place.

Please go back to the good old days...

Went there to catch up with a friend, spent hours talking there, musics a bit loud but it's good so we didn't mind. Quick service, tasty drinks for cheaper price for more oz's (I personally got a medium Mocha with whipped cream and paid less than $7, thats a win for me. Their mediums are 16oz, I got a blended which was made perfect for me. It wasn't painfully sweet with flavoring but it wasn't bitter where I should've just ordered a drip coffee) and theres a calorie chart with suggestions online if you need to watch stuff like that :)
