As much as it pains me to have to write this, I know it needs to be done. I ordered a build my own bowl order as per usual with lettuce and white rice, extra eggs, topped with pistachio, pumpkin seeds, cheese, and pasta. While I usually enjoy eating food from here, last night my rice was hard as if it was barely even cooked.
I have been here atleast 4 or 5 times, 2 of which I have witnessed the workers fooling around and goofing off instead of doing their job. And this was around sunset. You applied for this job to WORK. Not PLAY around. This is a job and you have a JOB to do. So DO YOUR JOB! One of the workers in particular I have seen is incredibly disruptive. The first time I had noticed he was a disruption was when my family and I all went into this Zupas location to order and this young man in particular was distracting one of the female workers when we were purchasing our food and he kept asking her for a strawberry. We were there being attending to by this female worker and he was being incredibly disruptive which was throwing her off. I do not know his name but I saw him being a distraction again yesterday. This is not okay. They clearly are not paying attention to what they are doing and in the process are messing up orders left and right. This isn't acceptable. Where is the managment? This needs to be handled. Your workers need to be working and attentative to their work.
There was also no ice in the drink machine. Really? How is this acceptable? What kind of drink machine does not have ice? How is management okay with this?
Zupas, you need to do better than this. I am disappointed with my food. I do not enjoy having to eat crunchy rice. It's disgusting and egregious. You try taking a bite of a bowl from here and being met with barely cooked rice. You would feel the same, too. It is not too pleasant.
Do better.
I most likely will not come here again. I live near Verado so I will probably visit that location from now on.
Also...why such tiny portions? Why do we have to pay extra for more food when the portions are tiny in the first place? 🤨

Café Zupas is a fantastic spot for delicious homemade food. My family and I often meet there for dinner. Their soup, sandwiches, and other options are exciting to try in different combinations. Plus, their fresh strawberries and chocolate are off-the-hook!

I’m usually a huge fan of Zupas but not now. Paid for extra chicken on 2 separate bowls neither came with that or the regular amount nor was there all the toppings on the bowls. The sandwich had no chicken or avocado, the strawberries were the size of grapes. Literally the only thing that was correct was the soup. I spent $50 on a bed of lettuce, & a piece of bread. So disappointed.

I came in here for the first time and the Jocelyn girl was extremely rude had a bad attitude I asked if I can get extra toppings for my soup and she acted like I was inconveniencing her. Never will be back!
